KwietStorm - You should be able to join servers via battlelog for consoles as well. I've used it before through the browser as well as the website. The browser on Xbox One is kinda broken and shows full servers and have to scroll 3-4 pages before finding a server that has slots available, but at least you can see the ping you'd expect in game.
Basically the 1 hit kill bug is the damage from that one bullet was being applied multiple times, resulting in a one hit kill. So it could be a leg shot, resulting in death instantly which can be rage inducing considering if you're playing in core.
In hardcore, of course, one hit kills are pretty much the standard.
Yeah, they took it out because it wasn't up to their standards, so they leave it to an even worse idea which is nothing at all lol.
They removed that. It's basically you join a game with slots open, then your friend joins you and hopefully gets on your team and squad. (It's supposedly already going to put them on your team and in your squad, but I've yet to see that happen as it put my friend on the other team.) Really pathetic that they are actually touting this is a feature. They need to build a system like COD's party system. It just plain works.

The concept of what Kinect can do is pretty cool. Do I want it for my video games? Not so much. I've been testing it out on the Xbox One and so far I like it. I'm still in the honeymoon phase with it and enjoy saying "Xbox On" and it turning on immediately.
It's an odd purchase for Apple considering they're not heavy into the gaming aspect of things but should be interesting on what they do with this acquisition.
Currently BF4 is super buggy and is having a ton of performance issues and either crashing or getting dropped from the server repeatedly. If you're fine with that, get BF4. For the second game, will totally depend on what you want to do. Complete carnage of zombies and chaos or a game based on Pirates thats very visually pleasing and an overall good game.

I hope this is actually just giving them time to patch up the issues with the game to avoid any further frustrations. With the game crashing so often, double XP doesn't mean anything when you lose your stats when it crashes.
A guy I follow on youtube had a faulty Kinect, they offered to replace the entire system. It's not a loaner, it's a complete replacement. Obviously it has to be returned because a claim was filed to have it replaced.
