I believed them from the start when it was first revealed. This is these guys first IP that's all their own so I knew they wouldn't jeopardize their credibility at this early stage by lying.
The game is a visual beast and, just like they claimed, it give also gives off a huge cinematic feeling.
Engines like this might be used to make animated movies some day. It's a lot cheaper than CGI.

They're showing pirates likes it's a hint at something, waaaay too soon for that though. Maybe it has to do with Uncharted for PS4? That seems like it's going to be a pirate themed game when you look at the trailer. Most likely with some sort of multiplayer aspect hence the PS+
This sounds cool and looks awesome, I'm pretty sure it'll come to consoles too considering how easy it is to port to the newer ones.

The initial trailer already looked better than any other next-gen console game. I want a released date most of all though.

The frame rate issues are related to the video itself, it was a recording of a stream. The game itself runs in 60fps.

I wonder when Sony will start releasing their big multiplayer only titles again. Warhawk and MAG were both really surprising releases last gen. I want to see them do more stuff like that.
It's looked buttery smooth every time I've seen it in action, even before this embargo lift. I was surprised when they said it was 30 but either way, locked 30 of higher it looks phenomenal.
If they had never mentioned it know one would said anything about it only having one so really it's nice that they did it at all.
It's even nicer that they aren't DLC, but you should expect some DLC down the line that might be a new Titan.
There a definitely some fans of The Show waiting for the PS4 version to drop before picking up the system. They showed the differences a few months back but it's still cool to read stuff like this about the PS4 version:
"Each crowd member has a higher poly count than the actual players in the PS3 version"

That game doesn't look anywhere near the best visuals I've seen. The author of this needs to be shot.. with a dose of reality.

Ryse only looks good in pre-rendered cut-scenes and they totally stole that technique from Naughty Dog. Difference is that MS and its heard all seem to reference those cut-scenes to claim it looks "better than blah blah blah".
I knew it was going to be a single player focused game from the start. Co-op would be nice but I understand why they wanted to focus on SP to make it as good as they could in this brand new IP. I wasn't "disappointed" though as I pretty much expected this.
At least you could watch your friends play and possibly help them out in the future while playing this game. The PS4 having cross-game chat this time around, the "interact" function of live streamin...
