I'm pretty sure they're doing both as well as upcoming DLC for Resogun.
Having it pre-installed means you don't have to go out of your way to find it.
The X1 version is a lot better though but I think that mainly has to do with it being planned so long ago and the PS4 version simply coming by way of request from fans before launch.

PS+ not required for streaming or watching streams on PS4 though. Oh and on top of that there are NO COMMERCIALS on the PS4 version.

I was thinking they'd have launched with 500k but seeing as they sold out I guess it was around 350k. Demand will only increase in March with Infamous SS.
500k seemed reasonable but they're currently sold out so everything they had sold regardless of the amount. The number will continue to grow as stock becomes available, no need to raise you troll victory flag just yet. 322k sold in 2 days in Japan while the X1 scraped up a measly 48k for the week in the last *global* hardware sales round up. UK just got an official price cut because MS is so worried.

I was watching someone live stream play this game on PS4 last week, early copy I guess. Doesn't seem very fun and the highlight was this bordello with holes in the wall so you could peep in on the people. lol
6.8 is basically its average right now so IGN are pretty much spot on.

The list just keeps growing and we get announcements every week.
They're doing it again, ignoring America because they think they've got them in their pocket already. I'm not fully talking about the price drop because it was actually well over priced in that region but the free game bundle.
MS gave away free copies of games in Europe at launch but showed no love whatsoever to their biggest fan base in America and they're doing it again.

Having a game that has an offline mode that requires you to be online in order to play it is the problem.
Online only games like MMOs are not a problem, being forced online for local play modes is.
How is this hard to understand?
I recall Black Ops 1 doing something similar where you set up a game to play against all bots, just to familiarize yourself with the map or practice, and it forced you to sign in just to do it. It annoyed people.

Not all F2P games are designed the same and many of them make money off of people that like to customize things or are too impatient to level up naturally in the free route.

I think Sony held a few off for the Japanese launch.
In the next week or two and DEFINITELY at the time of Infamous SS release you can expect to see PS4s start popping up in stores becoming available online gain.
You can pre-order one online or at gamestop so they at least have you on a waiting list or you could check Walmarts on Thursdays and Fridays.

Just because they're doing this off in China or whatever doesn't mean it's 100% what we're getting too.
Anyway, not everyone had a PS3 3 years ago when Dean Nation was given out and many PS4 owners never had a PS3 at all to have checked it out.
