That's definitely one of the many rpgs that I love for things that have NOTHING to do with the games storyline. Star Ocean is pretty high up there too.
There were a lot of things offered that never/have yet to come to fruition in Home, things that could have changed everyone perception of its usefulness.
A big thing for me, when it was first announced, was having our own space where we could show or play media content for others/friends to enjoy. This is exactly what I been thinking as I've been watching the streams of this game. Even though this is only a preview from a person who's only three hours in it shows a lot of why this Final Fantasy is still worth buying and not so deserving of the criticism.
Still a day one buy for me.
I think more like the game but people who don't like things speak louder and more often than people who do. I've been watching the live streams since it was released and have heard no real complaints. If you find a bug in your coffee you're going to cry foul to every person you see but if that same coffee, was instead (no bug), some of the best you'd ever had you would simply become a regular customer to it and rarely mention how great it is to anyone.

I'd say it's just barely in the positive, but positive none-the-less, not "bad" altogether as some of you are implying. I'm still getting a copy as I can and prefer to judge games for myself.
That this Final Fantasy is linear because of the 360 version right? It's right back to the PS1 days of mulitple disc where all exploration is done at the end and %50 of where you've been is inaccessible because the disc space couldn't handle it. The excuse was usually some cgi scene of past cities or areas being destroyed and this was the main reason why I love Final Fantasy 10 over all the other Final Fantasy's.

I would say they missed a few but it's pretty spot on.
A 20 game list might have been more appropriate.
How they skipped Tomb Raider I'll never know and Spyro seemed pretty relevant too.

They might be trying too hard, these are the best non-cgi character models i've ever seen and they compare strongly with cgi models (in facial detail) too.

The graphics obviously aren't representative of the final build, how is that even an argument here? This time trial is all about the physics and if you're having a hard time getting use to them it's probably because "some" arcade racer got you soft. If you keep "spinning out" here's two tips, STAY ON THE FRIGGIN PAVEMENT! and SLOW DOWN AT SHARP...

That's just plain imbecilic. You can add that way simply to try and make a point but unless you're getting less than 5 kills per match or all your kills are attained by way of explosion (in which case maybe you should just give up on the uncharted multi-player), you're going to make money on other things just because of the way you're killing people.
You get money for medals too and you get those medals EASILY during matches.
