Re: "WTF, the PS3 had been doing this exact same thing for years"
What you're saying is nothing like what the XB1 does LMAO. XB1 runs multiple things in there entirety at once. No one is saying access to bits and pieces like PS3. This is why you are getting disagrees for trolling.
Xbox One can access anything the console offers completely because many things are running at the same time.
My reply:
Why would you need to voice mail people anyways?
Sending a PM is just the same as text messaging and everyone in the world send texts all the time without complain.
I understand it's convenient but I never considered the inability to send a voice mail a problem. If I had something long to say I just plugged in my usb keyboard or invited them to a voice chat when we were both online so we could talk. On top of that someone said it was limited to 15 seconds or so? If that...
I got mail so I'll explain further in here too sense you all seem to be oblivious to this "feature" that the PS3 used to do.

PS3 played a video loop of games in the dash. PS3 games are not fulling running games while its dash is being used and fully accessed LMAO!
My reply: (Please pay close attention)

WTF, the PS3 had been doing this exact same thing for years. You press the Home button and the game would still be playing in the background but unlike these new systems there was very little you could do aside from replying to messages an tweaking audio device functions or checking trophies. About 1-2 years ago they made it start pausing whatever game you were playing as soon as you hit that Home button.
Anyways I wonder what sort of themes you can do on a dashboard like th...
Meanwhile PS4 systems are being made by the millions all ready to go at launch with no day no system patch needed like with the X1.
There's a reason his stuff is still Beta, MS is launching the console before it's ready (all those last minute system revisions) and requiring a day 1 system O/S patch to make it do what it's meant to.
You make so little sense it's absurd, PS4s a ready to go, "gathering dust" waiting on Nov 15th and noth...

Geez you guys are lame, I come up with the most creative list on here and you only focus on the one joke at the end. That's sad.

Hey thanks! I was really unclear if it was going to be 11pm on monday or 11 pm on sunday out here in california. I was just about to search the time zone differences.
Very helpful, but mostly I'm just glad it's tonight cuz if it was tomorrow night I'd be at work.

The first trailer we saw showed it actually running in regular motion. That second one shown was composed of very fast clips showing mere glimpses of a couple of enemies and the environment. It's not really a good judgement for confirmation of degradation. TGS is this monday, Deep Down will be playable there so why don't we hold off on these claims for one more day?
Even if the graphics take a hit what was shown so far looks to be an interesting title. Under ground te...
I'm still dumbfounded when I see people brag about Ryse and try to bring it into a battle about graphics. It looks like trash.
MS are friggin DAIRY FARMERS!
They want that milk.
DR3 = Milk
New IP = No thanks, I'll have some more milk though!
Deep Down... I'm a little scared of TGS. A game that looked so good that it couldn't possibly look any better so that only leaves one direction for it to go. I'm legit afraid that the playable version won't live up to what was shown initially but at that same time I know for a fact it'll still look...
What games have you been looking at?

I'm still surprised people are able to argue against what Sony's shown. It's like they're in the truest form of denial. I'm lost for words how they can just not be impressed by this stuff.
Also, "Deep down is confirmed to be a japan only rpg game"
When and where was this "confirmed"? We first saw the game at the initial Sony reveal and it was completely in ENGLISH, no subtitles whatsoever. Talk about extreme denial, no...
Damn, I want this but... it cost money :(
If demand were high enough to validate them keeping all production factories open for a full year I'd say 14 million. It's unlikely that would happen though, the big sales burst always happen around november-december.
I see them doing 10-12 million though, easily.
Jeff, have you seen any games on PC that look as good as The Dark Sorcerers tech demo prior to feb 2013?
On that 2005 note, the PS3 wasn't developed in 2006, it was released in 2006. It took years of R&D for that to happen.
I prefer a reversal of this question, How long will it be before we see a game engine that's tailor-made for the PS4 taking advantage of its hardware to a degree that really places it on par with a high-end gaming PC?
High-end PCs already surpass it in the current state but a brand new engine like the one Quantic Dream is working on would allow the PS4 to be formidable for a few years to come.
Let's see, 10 million copies sold at $30 each (We know they don't get the full $60) = $300 million
I'm positive it'll sell more than 10 million copies, probably 10 million on each console PS3 & 360, if not more
Rockstar, that name seems so fitting...
