@ abzdine
Vita tv supports 2 controllers, the promo video at the end of the conference showed two guy playing the PS1 version of tekken on the Vita Tv
@bully, in what way is this similar to anything Nintendo is doing? :/
This will be the first game I pick up when Vita Tv releases in the states
There's a press release saying it has 1Gb of internal memory and the video shows you just insert PS Vita memory cards/vita game cartridges to play the Vita Games.
Grailly, the promo video at the end shows a girl pause her PS4 at home (a house, not a dorm room), take her PS Vita to school, then continue playing Knack on her lunch break at school.
Remote play only requires a wifi internet connection but if you are at home you can also just use local area network wifi. It lets you do both.
This is how you get people excited about your new console. Showing the GAMES, showing the GAME RELATED FEATURES, showing the Social interaction with friends.
This was really their best promotional video yet.
I saw Wonder Flick a couple weeks ago when someone had mentioned Level-5 had a IOS game. I pegged it back then for the game they'd be bringing to the PS4. I hope they enhance it control wise.
Dark Cloud 3 will just have to wait...
OMG this trailer was EPIC. It showed so many features and ways you could utilize the PS Consoles. Right after being blown the f away by the Vita Tv announcement we get this amazing trailer to finish off the show.
I really liked the idea of them hosting and streaming a Killzone competition with the ease of a simple button press.
It was great how they also confirmed (for those still confused) how Remote Play can be used while away from home to continue playing ...
There have been Nike and Air Jordan cars in the Gran Turismo games for a long time. Usually really cool looking concept cars.
I'm glad this game is still looking good, visually and on the story side. Those chilling voices, the dark theme. It really is a lot like a Demons Souls kind of game with online co-op to fight the giant baddies. I need MOAR!
Hope to see some HD, direct feed videos soon of the TGS game play.
Japan is getting the PS4 months later than us but they are getting a couple nice things as compensation:
They get to be the first to play Deep Down at...
Lmao actually that Dynasty Warriors game put Ryse to shame. Not visually but in how many enemies it has on screen at a time, all with high res textures, all able to be hurt and manipulated, all in a fast-paced action game. It was funny to watch as I kept remembering people brag about the number of enemies on screen at one time in Ryse. That dude just killed 1400 guys on the PS4 with no frame rate issues.
I don't mean to be a troll but it made me laugh my ass off. If you&...
Damn I would literally buy one this week if it were out already. Sounds like it'll be launcihng in Japan first though an we might have to wait a couple months.
Lmao, that was pretty funny
Think about remote play with the Vita Tv, you can essentially leave your console at home and still take it with you on trips. Bring the vita tv to your relative house and still have access to your PS4 titles. Plug it in to their tv and play your PS4 games on a big tv without a the PS4 being there.
HDMI output too, what a great idea and somehow it miraculously wasn't leaked. Had no idea they would be showing this thing!
Not only is it a Vita player for the big screen, if used to stream a PS4 game you basically have Dual screen output as in watching a PS4 play on two tvs at the same time. Can let you continuing playing your PS4 games on your bedroom tv without having to lug your PS4 out of the living room.
Only thing odd about it is it working with DS3 controllers instead of DS4, Vita games touch screen and rear touch pad can't be used.
Other than that I've actually b...
I don't think they'll be another price drop any time soon. Also have you SEEN Windwaker HD! The game looks friggin GORGEOUS. I would totally buy a Wii-U just to play that remaster. I just don't have the money for that and a PS4 right now :/
It'll have to wait.
This wasn't very interesting and the volume was really low making it annoying, wtf.
Gaikai IS a server, that's literally what it is, what do you mean by Gaikai dedicated server? Just dawned on me, maybe you men using Gaikai as the dedicated server for 1st party titles?
Big agree there @Beast, it's definitely going to have an announcement that's meaningful to us outside of Japan.
Could be the last Guardian, could be Dark Cloud 3, could be something else we've all been asking to be on the PS4 for a while.
What...
Okay so it's the start up thing that makes this video special? News flash there too, that's EXACTLY what I use to do on my PS3, I'd load a game, exit to the XMB and sign into psn and message a friend whiiiile the game was loading. Instead of just sitting there waiting for all those splash screens to pass: the dev teams name, production company and game engine used to make said game.
I did it all the time. Some games have this "auto "loading save data" scree...
Well this thing is $100, add that to the Price of a PS4 as a bundle of sorts and compare it to what you're getting from MS for that same $500 total.
As far as your second question. Once Gaikai is running full steam ahead it'll let you play PS4, PS3, PS2, PS1, Psp and PS Vita games on this thing. All for only $100 (if you've got a PS3 controller lying about already). That's a big deal on its own but as far as playing one a system with better graphics: This thing ...
