I've been expecting this from Sony ever since they started trying out their Digital Day 1 downloads. This could be a petty big deal.

If they were going to release before the 15th they would have made an announcement already. My guess is that it'll be a week or more after Sony. I also have this suspicion that they might not release in November afterall and get pushed back to December. It's just a feeling though, they seem to be low on launch day stock or something.

They screwed up big time, I had a dude tell me today that he wasn't getting an X1 because he couldn't play a loaned or used game on it...
They reversed things and didn't make a big public announcement so some people are still thinking its E3 faults are there. They had the opportunity to clear things publicly at another big gaming event and that didn't bother mentioning it there at all. They expect the gaming press to do all the work for them.

I was about to go off lol, they clearly stated they'd support external drives. I'm actually a bit surprised that it's a problem for launch, all current media-center devices have supported external drives for years now.

I'm glad they did this complete overhaul and reintroduced the game as ARR. It got tons of positive feedback during the beta so I'm surprised that he's surprised by the uptake. In addition to that we haven't had many big game releases in a while, especially RPGs and for the PS3 specifically what other MMORPGs are there to choose from?

I dn't think the word "only" needs to be in that sentence. 4 is a standard for limit for most local co-op games. Sports games are the only ones I know of that ever exceed 4.
