i believe the system isnt intended fpr hardcpre gamer use/ and certainly isnt intended for thingvs like shooters as it looks as thougb it isnt precise enough for button detection.

Its what it could potentially bring that is exciting, and thats up the talented developers out there to realise its potential. Imagine an ew style of adventure game being release that used it in some form to navigate the screens, moving objexts about etc, used in conjunction with the voice control. ...

i would imagine quite a lot of people would care if it doesnt work, not least Microsoft and the guys that came up with the tech.

Im hoping it brings another level of gaming to us gamers and helps to compliment what we allready have.

Having another way to interact with our entertainment can only be a good thing, and in the hands of talented developers can produce some great results.

so having the system be as lag free as possible will only be...

Replaying the video several times, at the 0.37 mark we see video from behind the guys batting their arms forward, and looking at the onscreen action, it looks as though the lag between real arm movement and onscreen action has almost gone.

Anyone know of any way to slow the video down to check is this is indeed the case.

Totally agree with you Nike, all ive seen on here are flamebait articles from that website as well as a couple of other guilty culprits. They are only there to incite the crowd and get the hits. Just as well i have a few brain cells and choose not to visit this site at all or any of the others.

there has allready been one device shown off with similar technology at one of the shows earlier this year, cant remember which show, who the company was or if it was integrated or a separate device.

It was used to control the onscreen functions etc, navigating menus and selecting items all with a wave of the hand/arm

Notice how Natal hasn't been released yet and neither has MOVE.

troll away little person, troll away. Commenting on something that isnt available yet or you havent used is rather childish, do you not think. Where as people who have played it or used it can see the potential.

@2

In what way is Heavy rain Ground breaking, a series of interactive cut scenes punctuated by user involvement parts which are not as good as the cutscenes.
And have you never played / seen Quantic dreams Indigo Prophecy, thought not, it's the same style of game. Heavy Rain is definitely not unique and not original.

oh look theres a shiny round-a-bout. lets play on that and go round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round.

me i'd rather not, I would rather enjoy all the great games coming out, and there are many, console exclusive, platform exclusive and multi-platform.

1.2 - But don't 8 million or more people already have halo 3?
Why include Halo 3 then if everyone has a copy??

It's still a nice bundle tho.
[/dumb quote]

Probably because those 8 million people allready own an xbox, so they dont need to buy this bundle.
You think this might be aimed at people who are in the market to buy an xbox that dont allready own one and this will be a nice incentive.

Even if he did get off with a slapped wrist for the selling of devices to aid in piracy.
He still has the problem that he was making money from this while claiming state benefits. And also im fairly sure Mr Tax man will be taking a little look at his operation as well. As i doubt he would have declared any income to the tax office.
So basically hes in a big pile of sh*t right now and so he should.
