Wow I see a lot of commentorz pay for their internet bills.
Right John, so ...uhm...you save monies on packaging costs and physical distribution costs, no manuals, plus IM paying for the delivery medium now (my internet bandwidth), so I'm guessing games will be $10-$15 cheaper? >>insert article pic<< Ya, didn't think so.
Didn't the guy (some french dood) that I guess you could say created the "Assassin's Creed" world, quit Ubisoft ways before Brotherhood. Guess he doesn't like Milk.
Neither do I.
As long as there is a system with a very strong exclusive software line up compared to others in the market, there is always going to be downplaying of the importance of exclusives and how "exclusives are dying" and multiplatform is the way to go.
I'm spending my hard earned money on the piece of software that showcases the hardware that I use, engines that are build from ground up to use the hardware to its fullest, not Directx9c crap.
Now don&...
ding ding ding! ;)
I think video games are about immersion, and a large part of that immersion (I think) has to do with connection. This connection in part (I promise the snakes and ladders stop here)needs to have real-life dynamic (even if its in a fictional setting) .
So when I first saw THE trailer, the biggest impact was at the end: seeing that the non-zombie characters, including the kid, where a family at the beginning of all this. All of a sudden my mind raced back to some of the images ...
Just by reading your two comments I can tell there is some conflict going on inside your head, or maybe its ME that's missing something. -I'm a sony fanboy but you sony fanboys are getting on my nerve- hooooooooweeeeeeeeeeee
So just out of curiousity, what would Sony need to do now for a Sony Fanbuuuoyyyy to appease for its horrendous mistakes?
The only reason I'm not calling blatant trolling is because of your bub count.
I reall...
Now, I have very limited knowledge of server side security, but from what I do know: integrated server software firewalls or software firewalls are pretty shitty when it comes to security. Yes it might be FINE for consumer level, but it isn't on a larger scale. What Sony had in place (this is educated guess, no source) where hardware firewalls.
So by saying that their server software was outdated in the sense that it had not been patched with a firewall, and this "gr...
what I've actually started doing is taking a note of the sources and a lot of these sites. Now I know mainstream media is a f'in joke to begin with, along with offshoots like the ones that cover gaming. Even when this is "fixed" we'll still be hearing about it with the likes of, here I'll give you clowns some ideas;
PSN back online, are you trusting enough to return?
Sony network back up and running, for now.
I j*rked off to much and ...
its rather strange, when I first heard about the new SSX and the accompanied images(s) and PR spiel, I got really stoked. I played the IP's iterations in the past, having grown up I was looking forward to a more mature and, dare I say, something closer to a boarding simulation.
Then almost overnight the internet blew up with wah wah wah over the new direction. Now we're just getting a rehashed version of previous versions. I've been keeping up with the dev diaries...
Why would it? Unless this is some weird a** sh*t reverse physiology business ONLY to put up a headline with negative Sony undertones. With the shiz I've seen the past two weeks I wouldn't be surprised.
Regardless, good. These Infamous articles keep reminding me I have to pop the first one in and give it another run through seeing that there is a "continuation" option in the second using the 1st one's saves, or I've heard.
I clicked the article link. I knew I shouldn't have, but I did, now it smells like poo in my room.
Dammit.
Oh Red Faction (PS2), what happened?
On a related note...Volition! chop chop, get cracking on a new Free Space, GTM-4 Hornet FTW.
Forza Motorsports is not a sim as it does not take into account real world measurements to its real world counterparts, for example, the tracks being wider then they actually are. The only thing Forza has on GT5 is tuning, and even with that once you start getting into 500hp+ vehicles start feeling rather generic which leads me to believe it uses a poor physics/tyre model. BUT any game that lets me put a F20 out of an s2K into a EP3 chassis is cool in my books.
(please note I...
double oops
Hurting!!!
The worst part is that some of the worst examples of this come from some of the BEST devs, which leads me to believe that they are moving away from a creative model to a more corporate centric one. Bioware, or *cries* Blizzard.
When developers talk about DLC when a game is not released yet, that's when you know you have bovine juicing going on.
The more annoying part then the actual milking through DLC, is how the gaming media ...
I'm sure someone already threw this out there... coincidence that there is the NGP, that in my opinion can be used as a optional controller. So if there is truth behind this touch controller for Nintendo's next system, we might see multi console releases for games usually needing a particular hardware feature. Although I don't see this working too well from Sony's side due to 'needing' to buy NGP to play a particular game on your PS3.
Just a random tho...
lol, thanks, didn't think anyone would get that.
They've gone to plaid!
You own a deli and its absolutely poppin due to locale and quality of food. Then, a guy walks into your store, and robs you. During the robbery a customer gets shot and dies.
WTF!!!!?????? you mean you didn't have falcons that shoot lazers out of their eyes perching above your deli to take care of such a situation. Terrible. How can you do such a thing, not having lazer falcons?! Sh*t. Foresight b*tch, foresight!
Imma go to the other deli, cuz the gots th...
I don't think its a boss, its just like the elementals in the first one.
They should have kept the old old Cole (continuity is very important for immersion) especially if you are a fan of the first one. And whats up with the gey tats, I have a sleeve but this just feels shoehorned to be looked at and exhibit a "yo coolz" response.
Other than that, day one :)
