yeah, a PS3 version of Monster Hunter,what gives? Then I actually put some thought into it and I think I understand why its only been on portables.
I believe its something along the lines of keeping it on a particular system because of how it "system sells". If you would expend onto a console, it would dilute interest in the portable.
This also explain frontier for xbox...in that region.

To say I hate dub step is the top understatement this Monday.
This is a really good watch, especially since they have released this before in a slightly cut version running old code. Its fun to catch all the graphical differences between the builds, and they are in my opinion very noticeable. (ex. the scene with the kraken is so much more detailed than the older build)

I played FF7 when I was 17 I think, something like that, I'm reaching 30 now. When I remember FF7 I do not think of the content, the story, the characters. I remember how it made me FEEL when I was playing it due to all those elements coming together. I'm excited about this news, but I'm worried more.
I was hoping, and still am, for Sony to utterly kill E3 this year. This is due to a number of reasons, the primary one being the PSN hickup. I disagree. And please understand that I was gaming on PCs from 1991 to 2002, even as I was slowly moving onto the Playstation brand.
There is nothing really nothing great about it or refreshing for that matter, seeing that you have seen this type of gameplay and core mechanic available on PCs for a very long time. I'll be honest here. When I bought it (release day), it was one of the worst timed purchases I could have made, then crisis core came out much later and it was finally justified. By this time I had two, one got "fried|" while updating with an OFFICIAL FIRMWARE (I still hold this ding against Sony to this day), so I bought another. A few months later I decided to PB my new psp because I felt that there was really a lack of games for me, yet I heard that you could run your old PSX...
I was really interested in the game before release and I simply had no money plus too much of a backlog to warrant the purchase. Free? Hell yeah! This plus Stardust HD or whatever its called.

Not really in that sense. I've become really keen on being drawn into games, and because of all the years playing I've become quite jaded. One of the things that really throws me off nowadays is inconsistency, at least in my opinion, when it comes to aspects like art style, asthetics, and how these relate to the theme the game is trying to portray.

I really wish we got something along the lines of FFXII again. Mind you I started playing FFs on the SNES, but I feel that some of us older gamers would like a FF that has a bit more "maturity". Even the moogles in FFXII had moved away from the chibi character design which was very refreshing.
Don't get me wrong, this game looks great, but I just can't immerse myself anymore into something that I play as high schoolers saving the world.
