I do not want to see a single xbox fan defending this game, its shovelware, fortunately it isn't made by microsoft so at least their limited resources aren't being wasted on this. Wii has them, Move has them, Kinect has them, shovelware
Not a Microsoft game...only solace I find, that Microsoft's efforts aren't being poured into this instead of something else good. Sigh...anybody know where I can buy a cheap ps3? If microsoft do not announce anything cool at CES i'm going over to the Dark side for real.

I want this. I teach kids maths and as a reward I let them play Doritos Crash Course. It is simple and they love it. This seems like more simple fun. Not as free as Crash Course but definately worth it

Not to throw a monkey wrench into the works here but Lbp 2 is benefiting from pre-orders from last year before the delay. If you look at the weekly gains you'll realise just how unspectacular its performance is. That said, US is not the world and lbp 2 will definately do better than the 1st.
Just look at PSP game sales. . .190 million even at 65 million units sold. Thats less than 3 games per psp. You're underestimating the effects of easy hacking and easy piracy. Xbox and wii need mods. You need to wake up if you really believe this isn't bad

Major difference, wii and x360 need some sort of modification that can be detected online to be hacked. This hack requires ZERO modification at all.
Let me explain this to you this way, xbox and wii hacks are like a bunch of thugs storming into a bank, guns blazing and getting the cash and running off with the alarm screaming!

Thats wierd. I was under the impression that they also had Forza 4, you know, sequel to the current highest rated racing game this generation, sitting pretty at 92 metacritic? You know, the Definitive Racing Simulator and great overall game? Also, Steel Battalion, XCOM, Project Draco, PGR 5...You know, because they don't announce games 5 years in advance?

Kinect-only? I don't see it. Kinect-Hybrid? Yes please. Frag Out! I gesture throwing a grenade with my right hand. Melee attacks, hand signals, cut scene interactions, opening doors and head tracking for leaning in and out of cover can work great on kinect with the regular controller.

Backup manager is just one application, and yes it is geared more to piracy because it lets you play games entirely off of your hard drive without the need for a disc. However you're missing the bigger picture. Now PS3's power is limited only by people's imagination. For example, custom firmware that allows Cross Game Chat, ps3 is more than capable, somebody just needs to create a firmware, sign it and there you go, shut the xbox fanboys(yes I am one myself) up about that over rat...

Quick answer, not that I know of. Anything signed can be used officially online and offline. Meaning backed up games can be played online because the firmware will be signed and the network will read it as legit
