If it were safe to say they shipped 6-8 million then they would have said so...they did not. When they said shipped 4.1 million, you ps fans all said that it was probably 3.5 million sold...now you cannot afford kinect the same probable situation even with a chart site estimating the same effect? As far as we know, Kinect has shipped 8 million and sold 7.2 million. Move on the other hand is a mystery because Sony is too ashamed to release sold numbers

There is no distinction between good games that people want and bad games. They are all selling because of the marketing. There is absolutely no way that Dance Central, a AA rated game, is any good. No, its all just marketing.
This is ridiculous. Before kinect success, everybody was on microsoft's case about that 500m marketing, claiming it was a waste and they'd never get it back. Now that they've sold 8 million and Kinect titles are actually SELLING, everybody is all 500m budget this, 500m can sell that...it is getting tiring. Just face it fanboys, kinect is a success and you going on and on and on about the marketing only sheds light on how lame Sony's marketing strategy is

Keep in with Kinect sales? 5 million vs 8 million is keeping in these days? 3 million difference is nothing? Look at the games sales, Move has zero software on any charts apart from Sports Champion which in most cases is bundled with Move. Kinect on the other hand has Kinect Adventures, Kinect Sports(which has sold more than Sports Champion despite not being bundled and releasing over a month later) Dance Central and Kinectimals on the world top 40 charts
Final fantasy sold 4.5 million on ps3 alone according to them, but they have it at 4.4 total and only 2.7 on the ps3 chart. What gives? Is it because the Japanese version released last year? If so then WOW, didn't realise how few people bought the game compared to Japan

Last gen, ps2 had 15 games cross the 5million mark. This gen, with less than half the lifespan and just over a 3rd of the install base, x360 has 12 games over the 5 million mark.
X360 still maintains the highest ATTACH RATE in history with 9 games sold per console, 10 in the Americas
PS3 has 7 games per console, 9 in the Americas
Americas has the highest attach rates. Those people love to buy games!
