I agree with you for the most part, but I think it has more to do with the MS being somewhat of a threat in the NA. In Japan, it's ruled by Sony and Nintendo. So later on, I'm betting the PS4 will start to really trot out those Japanese 3rd party exclusives.
Deep Down was on a 480p livestream and the graphics still looked like CGI. Ryse? Not so much. Hopefully we'll get some TGS gameplay for Deep Down.

It's a pretty mediocre game for consoles. Not really sure if a VITA version will help.

Japan probably has the best PS4 launch.
Loads of games during the conference and the PSVITA is getting some love, as well as the PS3 which is STILL trotting out exclusives.
The PS4 will dominate in Japan and will be great for Japanese devs. I just hope we can get more Japanese 3rd party exclusives for PS4 so they're not held back in any way.
This conference was way better than Gamescom.
Specs do matter. More than you think.
If you don't have the specs, you're not getting the games. And really, specs on consoles matter more than specs on PC, because you upgrade a PC at anytime, but when the console releases, it stays that way.
KH3 wouldn't look as good as it does and FFXV wouldn't have such great physics. Obviously, with PC guys, I get where they're coming from, but it's just pointless to repeat the same thing over and over aga...

Sweet. This looks amazing. This is good. If we can get more Japanese 3rd party exclusives for PS4, the graphics will be amazing and not held back by the XB1.

I don't know whether MM is dead, but he's not coming back anytime soon. Hopefully this'll get Capcom fired up and actual release a MM game.
