The reason they havent given up on wii u sales is because they say mk8 and smash 4 will sell consoles-which at this point it might well not shift as many as if they'd been ready at launch as they should have been. As vita has shown us aswell 3rd party support is either there from day 1 and sakes are good or sales are bad and 3rd party support unfortunately withers and dies :/
They expected wiius userbase to be many tines the size already they also expected wii u ti account for more than 2% of sales of games like splinter cell blacklist or AC.
Theu did around launch and they sold extremely poorly. Ubisoft kept up support longer rhan the other third parties any other publisher probably would've cancelled this game based on the % of an already small user base likely to buy the game on wii u-from previous titles sales its not very large...
At last figures over a month old its likely that by the time this game launches both are either equal or ahead of the wii u plus the % of the instal base that will buy their games is greater on ps and xbox...
You realise the low wii u instal base and people not buying their games in larger quantities at launch is exactly why this happens? Right?... Financially as a buisness it doesnt make sense to prioritise the wii u at all...

So it is releasing on current gen and last gen... I actually find this dissapointing. By releasing on old hardware it MUST be limiting the vision of the game slightly or else the last gen version must be an inferior experience. Last gen had/has some great games but it simply cant pull off a game thats being made to push new hardware...

Um xbox dominated uk last gen, and playsaion he gen before i and niny and s1 prior to that. I'd say it's just that market here goes with wh it feels is best at anyone time, very little cross generation loyalty that is unearned.
What an awful study, a) there was no consequence to them stealing other than they gained extra chanced to 'win'b) 172 kids is not in any way imaginable representative of the majority and c) the fact the test wasnt repeated etc means this journal that it was published in cannot be of any real scientific repute. Oh also contradicts many many many more comprhensive studies involving larger number of people that give resulta directly contrary to what they concluded.
