You PC guys are the worst. Yes, PCs will always be able to be more powerful than any console because you can customize them and they don't follow a generational model, but for the price, consoles are the way to go in gaming (unless you count the reduced cost of PC games over the long run). Problem is, with genuine console exclusives (mostly PS3 here, not really Xbox), you get games of a production value and quality that in many cases rival or surpass PC. Bottom line, it's a Console war, not a...

I just spent a bunch of time defending you against this other chump, then you go and say some crap that proves his point. Only 4 points? The last 10 points on a hundred point scale are what matters most, especially in gaming where everything that isn't pure crap gets at least an 8. Think about it like this, points 1 through 89 are a measure of how good a game is, points 90 through 100 are measures of how great a game is. Those last four points represent orders of magnitude, whereas all the lo...

I just wanted to note that you guys need to loosen up the word restriction, c*ck means male bird, and when I tried to use it in the perfectly PC word c*ckamamie I was warned. What about poppyc*ck? I'm surprised we can get away with the word assassinate, it's got ass in it twice. Can I even write the word peac*ck?

Sorry Mr. Blings but I'm gonna have to agree with Odion on this one. The one thing you might have right is the bit about embedding, but there aren't all that many articles that have videos and those that do tend to get more comments so if its really hot, it should be able to get there based on more reasons than just that it was played here instead of followed through. I am not either one of you so I don't have a vested interest in this, I'm an actual gamer. I put the G in this site, you put t...

Not that I disagree with you, but hungreads? I don't mean to offend, but how did you learn English? I don't even understand what kind ridiculous auto-didactic language learning technique could produce hungreads. Maybe there's a joke here that I'm missing.

All I can say is that for me this game was day one since day one. That is, since I first heard about this game I knew that it was going to be revolutionary, and more than any other trailer I've seen, I feel like this is proof. That's right, since the first technical demo with the woman in the kitchen crying, I knew. There was a recent article about how "heavy rain might be a heavy fail" and a number of people posted negative comments to that about how they weren't sure about it. Th...

I actually really liked the demo, and I only own a PS3. So there's some frame rate issues and some screen tearing at points, that's hardly anything new and as long as it doesn't amount to a major glitch, I can't see that accounting for more than a 5 points difference on a 100 point scale. The game is not "broken" on the PS3 and Sega will patch it, so stop loving or hating the game simply because it's slightly better on Xbox. Also, don't blame Platinum games for Sega's doing. Sega po...

The problem with Sony day 1 sales is that Sony doesn't start advertising until after the game has been released.

I think this game will do at least as well as Uncharted 2, as I believe that most of the people who bought U2 are savvy and can recognize quality in not just graphics, but plot and the whole development process.

People who get turned off by David Cage saying that it is not a game are precisely the people who are holding the industry back. In order for the ...

Or does this site seem to have a real problem with Square Enix. This isn't the only article they have about FFXIII and all the ones that I've found are negative. Not only that, but the guy says clearly that a lot of his points need qualification, yet he doesn't give any. Allow me to list my problems with this guys list.

What does "comically" linear even mean? Very few games are nonlinear, and final fantasy has never been very open except until you obtain the ability to tra...

Um, am I the only one who has played a FF before? Final fantasy games have a wide open wold map from which you enter a specific location which has a linear or generally a small local map. This isn't news at all people. The games is open world in so far as traveling the whole world is open to you and you can choose any one of what will probably be scores of areas to go to, but once you're in that area, space will be limited. It's nothing new, and it's hardly going to detract from game play. FF...

Uh, it's a MOTION SENSING CONTROLLER that performs PRECISE 1 to 1 representation in fully 3 DIMENSIONAL space, you can't get more ANALOGUE than that. Clearly you people don't even understand the concept of Analogue vs. Digital communication.

Lose faith in this game because it's clearly perfect for co-op and they aren't going to implement it, because the idea behind it is ridiculously whack, or because it looks like a cracked-out (in the very bad way) Gears clone. It does seem to me though that they must have been planning to go multiplat for a long time, but that's nothing to get upset about, and nothing unexpected from techmo. Techmo games are usually technically somewhat impressive, but uninspired on the whole.

Just because they plan to release DLC at some point doesn't mean they've started to work on it, or that it is in some way detracting from the game. It will likely be stuff that doesn't fit directly into the story, and possibly even things that don't relate to the story at all. Regardless, there hasn't been any DLC that really should have been included except for that crap with RE5/Brutal Legend where it was on the disc and maybe some of the Dragon Age stuff. The problem is that with Xbox stil...

Doesn't hold a candle to GOW3. Actually the graphics on this game were better than I thought they would be, but still not close to GOW3. The frame rate was really nice, but the animations were a bit stiff. The game play was classic GOW with no innovations, but that's okay because GOW was a great game, I just hope that the full game has some real gameplay variations that aren't exactly like the GOW franchise. The story I find very interesting because unlike most people on N4G I actually read D...

The story line isn't original, it's based on a classic epic poem, just modified a bit to make the main character a warrior who's in love. I mean they didn't even bother to change the title, in fact, the use of the phrase Dante's Inferno is to identify both the author and the book, like if you were to say Homer's Odyssey or Ovid's Metamorphoses. The title should just be Inferno.

5924d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Infamous Vs. Prototype was a decent comparison especially since they're both new IPs. Dante's Inferno is a carbon copy of GOW 1&2, but it's still quite obvious that it doesn't come close to GOW3. When you play the GOW3 demo you feel like there has been an improvement over GOW1&2, when you play the DI demo you feel like you're playing a great re-make of GOW1&2. That's not meant to take away from DI, I'd say it's better than GOW1&2, but only as much as it should be because it's ...

This guy can't distinguish pre-rendered HD cinematics from in-game footage. I'm certain the FFXIII will have the best FMV's in a videogame to date, but from what I've seen of the graphics, they're not any better than UC2 or KZ2 and they don't have anything on GOW3, GT5 of Heavy Rain (soon to be known as HR, not be confused with your company's human resources department). Granted, the game hasn't been released yet, so I may be judging based on an older build, but I still doubt the claim that t...

Gay people aren't upset because they mention being gay. The real problem is Don't Ask, Don't Tell. DADT is a discriminatory policy that gay men and women in the military actively struggle with all of the time, its unfair, unprofessional, and most other countries don't subscribe to it, yet IW's use of it here seems to condone it by making light of it. If he asked the question "you still black?" and then said "hey man, no interracial mixing, ha ha!" people would be pissed of...

Let's get our definitions straight. It is not a stand alone game. It is an expansion. Even Bungie, the people who made it, call it an expansion. The name of the game is not Halo 4 or even Halo ODST, it's Halo 3: ODST. Wrath of the Lich King is not a stand alone game, it is an expansion to World of Warcraft, hence it's proper name is World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King. The Ballad of Gay Tony and The Lost and the Damned are not stand alone games. They are expansions, hence the name GTA ...

That it's a joke to compare Bayonetta to GOW 1 and 2. Uh, they're Playstation 2 games, i mean really? Bayonetta better be better than both of them. From what I can tell of the demo, it's freaking amazing. As for these claims that the PS3 version is gimp, all of the differences are sufferable, and they're being fixed for western versions, so who cares except our eastern counterparts. GOW will always have a story that appeals more to western audiences, Bayonetta will always have a story that ap...
