Oh man. This. This is just what I need.
Perhaps. As for the PC version, hell no. When it comes to shafting a community, COD does it best.
But what happens when "next-gen" comes out? Are they going to evolve? Or are they going to keep on rolling out the (what would then be last-gen) products for a (what we call next-gen) current-gen console?
I feel like they won't, considering the lack of enthusiasm in catering to the PC crowd.
Ahh. I see what you're talking about now. I thought you meant aiming. Movement...
I remember seeing an article. Some guy had modded his keyboard to implement analog controls into WASD. I'm not sure if that's as simple as a DIY but it's been done.
I think PC games (ports, of course) do support the analog and precision movement. The problem is the KB+M. We don't have that functionality. But for the most part, games that do require that kind ...
I'd play/get it. Just balance out the obviously-better-than-others characters. And Heihachi's LVL 2. That LVL 2. Sh!t hits you even when you have spawn protection.
I heard it lacked support (MS rules on updates and the price tag with it), and thus, was vastly inferior and "un-fun." (compared to the PC version)
I just want to add something to your post: The new AMD Radeon drivers improved their performance by a ton (20%!) Nowadays, they actually are more powerful than Nvidia cards. But as for ease, size, and power-consumption, I would, too, go to Nvidia for that, though.
Here's the problem: Gamepad emulators DO work. (Look at DS3 Tool.) It's just that games on PC usually don't support auto-aim (a norm for consoles) which is why console controllers work *better* on consoles.
As for the COD argument, I remember that problem. I in fact had it. It was a simple Google search (set stereo mix to default communications or default in general and COD will work.) The programming was never fixed for the game and will probably never be fixed, ...
But without them, editors wouldn't exist. Without them, incompetent journalists would be able to get away with English mistakes, the subject they most likely majored in. (I'm not saying this author is incompetent. Just others)
Dude, arcades are freaking expensive. I can't afford all those quarters, let alone carry them.
First time I played, SMGs dominated. Then, I stopped.
Ouch. But hey, there are always people on opposite ends. I guess this balances out those 10/10 people who grade too easily and fanatically.
@ Norrison,
I believe that Valve had always wanted to move into the console industry. The problem was just with Sony and MS with their update and server policies. So, with Valve's infinite money, they wanted to make one themselves and bring it within one Valve year. (When Valve says one year, they mean three. /valvetime)
Probably the simplicity of a console. This Steam console will most likely be rigged with specs that rival that of higher-end (I use that with care) PCs so that it can play PC games, while not needing to look for/build a PC.
Also (fact of the day), monitors are faster than tv's but it's not too much or noticeable to one who uses both and isn't a tech fanatic.
How is PC gaming ripping people off? Is it the sales? The value over time vs the value on the spot? The functionality? Or am I missing something, some hidden cost that the PC illuminati are enforcing on us plebians so that they make a quick buck off of people who want to have fun?
hwhy?
I don't find this ad to be sexist at all. They're not using an attack against a woman, only complimenting her. It'd be sexist if the ad said that she's a worthless wench that should go back to the kitchen because that's a woman's job. Now, that's sexist. It's discrimination.
If this were a man, it wouldn't be sexist. /society
PS if there were some double standard that applies to something like this, then that is discriminat...
@MikeMyers
Cross-Platform barely (I don't even think it does because of i-don't-want-it-b/c-i-am-m s) exists on Xbox. Saw it in the article and wanted to correct that. He's talking about multiplats. Cross-platform is Portal 2 PC with PS3.
Well, time to get rich quick. I'm posting here. I'm going to win. No doubt about it.
^ Well, it isn't a "next-gen" console. The Ouya is the first of it's kind so it's the "first" generation of itself, and thus, not next-gen.
