@^ I feel like the only way to deal with console piracy is with online passes and we all know how much we hate that stuff.
DRM in general is really annoying and gets in the way of everyone. Also, DRM usually doesn't work that well and only manages to restrict online play.
The best DRM I've ever seen is with DjMax Trilogy. The flash drive DRM (although slightly cumbersome) worked very well and it took years to crack.
Not many. But pirates use external hard drives because it's expensive to burn a blu-ray. (That's for Ps3. As for other systems... *shrugs*)
In other words, that wouldn't be a good use of the technology. It'd be a waste, actually.
They need to get rid of the online passes. Also, Sony isn't an online pass offender (or a bad one. All Stars has one but they gave me a vita version of the game so all's good). That'd be EA, Ubisoft, and [insert whatever other company does it].
Well, that's certainly a possibility and I hope that's the case. If they haven't used it, then they have a reason for not using it: to save the world!
I wish I could bleed money. Then I'd be rich after cutting myself a few dozen times.
I haven't been shot, then robbed at gunpoint by a Pokemon so...
I don't like cutting my skipscenes. I prefer to watch them but they should have a cut button just for the nth playthrough.
I think Scrabble was the game I was most board with.
This, I agree with.
You shouldn't derail your argument by insulting your reader, you idiot... *snicker*. But, good letter, by the way.
(Maybe, just maybe this will work: National Rifle Association of America 11250 Waples Mill Road Fairfax, VA 22030.
--Now, this is the mailing address of the NRA in the Contact Us page so it might not reach Mr. LaPierre and instead into a secretary or something. But if Google didn't help you, then God Save Us Al...
EU clever dog. (I hope that was the pun)
This is why people hate it, and it's the truth. It's fun, it's action-packed, but because it's like a Bay movie, it gets tiring after two or three while the first is amazing.
Sure, I draw too, as a past-time. I admit, I take "inspiration" from what I see. BUT, do I copy what I see? No, I take the idea and morph it into something original that I can call my own.
Downright copying in a different form is ripping. Taking what you see and changing (notice: CHANGING) it into your own is "taking inspiration".
They feel dumb to me. But I suppose it is difficult to make good bots/AI. The only company that comes to mind for good bots/AI is Valve and Arkane isn't Valve.
Well, I feel the sneaking aspect of the game is made easier because the AI is fairly dumb. They don't know how to look up.
6-8 is enough for a high end PC to run on. When would a console need 16? That's like for video editing and whatnot.
Not to mention 16Gb of ram by itself is worthless without a high end CPU,GPU and game to utilize it.
The game is good. Save for the AI.
"There are lots of games who ripped one another.. "
So articles about them are worthless? Spreading information is useless to us?
I also don't get why people hate Kotaku so much. It's hardly a news site but a blog. A blog of opinion and whatnot. I also thought it presented itself as such as well. Their "articles" are mainly opinion pieces.
Shame. The art looked nice. At least they could've changed their positions and faces. Would that be so hard?
This sh!t storm gets worse and worse and more and more entertaining to read.
I only hear terrible things about this game. May good luck fall upon the many who fell captive to this horror.
Zelda?
AHH ms iz so bahd tehy cant maek anything good becuase they r bad
And here I was thinking my CUSTOM BUILT PC was a piece of crap and that I wanted to ditch it recently to get a prebuilt mac for $1000+ without gaming capabilities.
EDIT: or linux pc, but that can't play games either. Macs are getting games as of recently (look at BL2!) but their price really is a put-off for me.
