Well said sir.
Another thing people need to realize is sure the first Kinect may have sold 20 million units or whatever but what was it's attach rate?
I for one have a Kinect, my GF bought one because she wanted to be more involved in my gaming, she bought it and one of the exercise programs, she used it for a few weeks and then it sat there for 5-6 months collecting dust, I disconnected it and never touched it again, I'm quite sure i'm not the only one with a story like that. ...
I haven't until the last few years or so when all my games started piling up, between my PS3, 360 and PC I still have over 300 physical copies.
Lately whenever I completely finish a game, know there won't be any DLC for it and know I probably won't ever play it again, I trade them in and at that point realistically what does it matter? It can either sit there collect dust and depreciate or I can get 15 or 20 dollars for it towards another game.
Amazingly I have NEVER walked into a Gamestop store and had a clerk stick a gun in my face and made me trade a game in. ;)
The thing people need to understand is not only does the re-seller have to make money from your used game, they assume the responsibility for said game, if something is wrong with it, they eat it.
They also base what they give you for the game on how popular or unpopular the game is, if the game is popular it may have tons of trade-ins an...
Xbox One Automatically Records Last Five Minutes of Gameplay and 24/7 of you and your family.
Not interested in either of them.
And why I WON'T buy one with it...
I know that, these articles always seem to lump casuals in like they traded in there consoles or high-end PC's and prefer to play angry birds on their phones instead.
"However, keep in mind that the industry's been slumping since 2009. It wasn't the anticipation of new consoles that was holding back gamers then. The growing popularity of apps played on smartphones and tablets has siphoned off a lot of casual video-game players. It's not just Microsoft's Windows business that's been hurt by the growing popularity of iOS and Android devices."
I'm so tired of hearing about the Casual gamer, the casual gamer d...

Oh I've always been in the PS3 camp as well as the PC camp, I enjoy gaming but given Microsoft's policies for the Xbox One I'll just be sticking with a PS4 for my Next Gen gaming needs.
“At the business level, Microsoft isn’t acknowledging people like us,” said Lanning. “It’s as if we don’t matter.”
Don't feel like the Lone Ranger Mr. Indie Dude, a lot of us current 360 owners feel the same way with the Xbone policies.
I doubt it, I've only made it half way through Revelations and haven't even popped the wrapper on AC 3 and I've had it since last Christmas.
Same with the COD series, I've been playing less and less of it's over all features and only finished 1/2 of the last one, I just got this feeling like I had already played this and quickly lost interest.
As with COD, I just can't do another AC game, over-saturation has burned me out on them.
Nope, especially when you have to install everything and it's moving to a blu-ray format.

I doesn't matter if you have anything to hide or not what matters is these various "law enforcement" agencies think they have the right to just up and invade our privacy whenever they feel like it, NY's new stop and frisk law is a perfect example.
When did it change from innocent until proven guilty to guilty until you prove yourself innocent?
The more power we roll over and let them have the more power they they will take....
Once again Microsoft tries to paint themselves as the victim and tries to make it look like the NSA is twisting their arm to give up your info but the simple fact is this,
if Microsoft truly had my privacy issues a heart they would remove the tools from their various systems that the NSA uses to gather info, they wouldn't make them better and better, year after year and eventually force them on you, yes I'm talking about kinect 2.0
If Microsoft truly wanted me to be ab...
Well I can tell you of the 20 people on my FL
1. 1 Has sold his 360 and PC games only, I see him every now and then pop in when it's a XBL/PC title.
2. 3 barley use their 360's now so I doubt they will buy either Next gen system.
3. 4 I'm unsure of as they haven't said anything one way or the other.
4. 12 have flat out told me they were not getting an Xbox One.
5. Of those 12, 9 have told me t...
This video is a cop out, it tries to paint Microsoft as the victim in the whole NSA spying on you.

I'm not sympathetic to it, I simply understand there is a lot more involved than simply ripping you off.
And please enlighten us on how the developer is ripped off?
In order for the game to be used it had to be sold NEW at some point and if the game was SO GOOD it would have never been traded in to begin with, I have tons of games that I have completely beaten it and all it's DLC that I would never trade in simply because they...
