Good to know, I look forward to eventually trying it.
That square bottom worries me a bit as far as comfort, it will be interesting to see how it feels.
Ya know it's really hard to gripe about something free but here we are again with yet another 2 1/2 year old XBL ARCADE game.
I guess Microsoft feels like if no one wants buy it they might as well give it away for free.
Come on Microsoft, here is yet another wasted opportunity to treat your Gold members to something decent.
'bout time.
Because most developers still have the mentality, tools and routine of creating games for the previous Gen.
In other cases games are rushed to meet launch dates and in others they are paid to just create something, anything that can be attached to a systems line up of games because they know competition will be less limited at the start of a consoles life and the user base will be less fractured.
It means Next Gen is finally here.
Oh I'll agree, would it be a system seller if released a year from now? more than likely not but because it's a launch title, I believe so, as I said if I were to get an Xbox One it would be because of games like DR3.
This is absolutely not true, just because it's there does not mean DEVs will use it, especially 3rd party when the other console doesn't have it.
Yes, It's the biggest reason I'm not moving from my 360 to the Xbox One and (at this point) only having a PS4 for my Next Gen needs.
If you want to sell a product you have to give your consumers options and options don't include spending an extra $100.00 on something you don't want or never intend to use.
@Zefros
I agree and disagree, if I were to buy an Xbox One it would be because of games like DR3 and not Forza as I don't particularly care for racing or sports games and I know a lot of people that don't either BUT in the same token there are a lot of people that do as the Forza and some of the sports games always do extremly well.
Now this is the way launch titles should be, this is a system seller.
I always enjoyed playing the Dead Rising series but one of the things I never care for was the timed missions, you have to be at this end of the mall at 11:59am to save Frank, Sally and George and the opposite end of the mall at 12:12pm to save Bill, Fred and Jackie so make a choice.
My understanding is DR3 does away with that.
My only fear worry with this game is they can have 100's and 100'...
Pathetic people starved for attention.
NICE!!
@MELMAN26
I don't want a game that drones on forever either but weren't we told these "Next Gen" games would rival Hollywood blockbusters and have the production values to prove it?
Take a show like Breaking Bad, do you think they could have told that story in 6-8 hours?
Don't we spend anywhere from $10-$20 on DLC that adds MORE to the story in some cases? We should be demanding it now, I'm getting sick of things being cut ou...
Lemme ask you something, would you pay $15-$20 for a 2hr DLC? because it's essentially the same thing.
If you want to drop $60.00 plus tax on a game (an unfinished one at that) and finish it in one sitting then I don't really know what to say to you, I work harder for my money than that and just so ya know, I'd be saying the same thing if it were a PS4 game.
All you disagrees crack me up, we are going into Next Gen folks, there is no reason why we...
Wow, this is unacceptable
1. This is a launch title and supposed system seller.
2. All games are on blu-ray now, there should be more than enough room for a game decent in length.
3. The game only has a single player mode.
Who says I have a cellphone?
See,I just don't have any need or desire for a console to track my every movement, especially given Microsoft's reputation for invasion of privacy issues.
There is also the potential for some pretty nefarious uses there, how long is is going to be before the cops or government starts tapping in "for the good of the people"?
How long will it be before a new batch of amateur porn crops up on the internet?
I'm sorry given this day and age it...
@TheFallenAngel
Spot on.
I bought a Wii for my Mother and GF for Christmas years ago (neither of which were/are gamers) because they bought into the hype/gimmick Nintendo was advertising, all they played for 2-3 weeks was the bowling game and by the end of January the thing was already collecting dust, had two aunts that did the very same thing.
Kuddos to Nintendo for marketing the hype with the core machine but no-one can deny the attachment rate was...
Meh.
Nothing there to compel me enough to want an XBox One.
