Yeah from some of the things I've read the mods and enhancements are probably phenomenal for Skyrim, I can remember playing Max Payne and Duke Nuk'em for a year after their release dates because of Mods and add-ons, that is the main thing I miss about PC gaming.
@ MicDude
I played a bit of Dark Souls but had a hard time getting into it, I don't mind a game being hard but it offers no learning curve, it's no fun (IMO) dying over and over at the very beg...
I'm playing one game (with all the DLC) trying to discover every location and every mission/side mission with the exception of the repeatables, I've got 323 hrs 43 min into it so far, the game is massive.
agreed, actually playing it right now.
I'm pretty sure it will be a Kinect-less Sku to match Sony's price point.
Did Valve not learn anything from the release of Duke Nuk'em?
The longer you make people wait the more anticipation you built, if the game is not perfect in every way it will get trashed.
It's not a dup story.
On topic.
How funny because you guys did so many 180's to meet consumer's vision of Next Gen.
BTW you still haven't met mine, close but not yet.
I agree 110%
There is also no excuse why games shouldn't look more realistic (better graphics), be longer (more than your standard 4-8 hours for SP) and offer numerous modes (SP,MP, Co-Op) as a standard.
We are moving into Next Gen, the machines are more powerful now and the disk capacity is standard Blu-ray now in both the major players, Devs are no longer shoe-horned into the capacity of DVD9, How many times in the past 5 years or so have we heard DEVs say" if we ha...
If it unseats any of them (at this point) it will be the 360 as it is at the bottom of the list.
How is it opinion when it is presenting you with facts?
Sony has to be proud they have 3 in the top 5.
Hmm, I've had an Xbox Elite in my closet ever since I upgraded to The Halo console, might just have to check this out.
Yeah, we are going to have to deal with that for a year, maybe two until the Gext Gen systems get enough units out there that Devs can profit from, it's a cold, hard fact.
Gotta agree on the Gears games, Gears 1 is is what made me drop PC gaming and finally make the move to consoles.
@corvusmd
Whatever I bought I can't play at work, see how that works?
And to be clear, I'm not hating on the Xbox One for their game line up, there is just nothing there that makes want to go out and spend $500.00 to play, especially with Microsoft's current vision of next Gen gaming.
As far as Knack goes, I'm not hating on it either, it's just not the type of game I play so therefor I had no interest in dropping $60.00 on it somet...
Gawd, how many times have we seen this movie?
I'm in. ;)
Tap tap tap, is this thing on?
Attention Microsoft, this is how you do a free game give away....
That is all.
@ JoelT and Abriael
Ok got it.
I guess I must be dumb because I don't understand what this article is trying to say, are they saying cable companies will use Xbox Ones instead of their own cable boxes?
or cable companies will pay Microsoft for their cable box to work with the Xbox One?
I don't see either one happening if that is the case.
Didn't pick up Knack with the PS4 so I'd have to say No to that as well.
How could they NOT acknowledge them, YouTube is full of vids showing the problems.
