Just by reading the first couple of paragraphs you can easily tell that the author had made up his mind on this matter even before he played DC.
I do agree with him that for a mmo newcomer DC would be the way to go. But he has a deep hatred for wow that just blatantly bleeds through this article.
btw i actually quit wow to pickup dc and while it is better than coh and champions. It needs time. This game will fail to get any bigger if Sony goes for the cash g...
You could almost see the tears in ratchets and ackys eyes as they typed those up.
thom is right...This has been the norm for years now. I'm kinda surprised by the statement however. Were they considering charging a monthly and paid DLC to top it off?
That is nowhere near the norm. Sony would have failed horribly had they decided to go that route. Just considering it doesn't make them look too good.
@Sj
an expansion pack and DLC are completely different. An expansion pack can be bought retail and have quite a bit of content ...
that crowd is probably involved in the homebrew scene now...
what reason would they have to be here?
well after there last two abominations...I won't expect much
SE has just about shattered its reputation of delivering quality RPG's. Wonder if this will be the final nail in the coffin.
all it proves is that kinect is possible in fps games. The sensitivity is just way to slow to be taken seriously however.
And battlefield 2 cash shop did? Nice
Do the ps3 fanboys even realize how stupid they are making themselves look?
In all my time here at n4g, I've never seen so much crying and nitpicking.... Well besides the ff13 multiplat announcement.
nope your gut reaction was right. SInce I have no bubbles to take away I'll just say what everyone wants to say but won't because
1. It seems the chick in video is posting here
2. It's an easy way to lose bubbles
how the hell is this crap news
go spam the youtube comments if you want hits.
in the coming days i'll be jailbreaking my ps3. This scare tactic means jack to me.
that used to be the american way but it seems like Sony is taking it up a notch.
It's now the Japanese way.
wow clone vs. star wars.

This time around Bioware is going after the console market. Not to mention Bioware will be leaning heavily on DLC, which will kill the experience for those like me who refuse to give in to that scam. This limits them severely.
CD Projekt on the other hand are going more in-depth and more technical. I'm pretty sure there will also be DLC but not to the point where u don't have a freakin storage chest unless u fork over the cash. (still won't buy witcher 2 DLC)
If pc gamers are interested in this title. They will try before they buy through other means. This time around I won't be tryin it simply because it doesn't appeal to me.
@darkride
he didn't hack anyone's computer. If you sold a hacker a computer that held some encrypted files. it's your bad if he takes it upon himself to break the encryption.
it's his ps3 not anyone elses. btw ToS doesn't mean jack in court.
" This is good news. Sony is improving gaming while MS is holding it back "
They only person you should be giving credit to is Gabe Newell. Not only did he work over Sony for steam "features". But he is in the process of working over M$. He is the only person this gen that's changing gaming for the better.
Finally A Japanese developer that's beginning to think like the rest of the world.
you could almost see the tears in all these comments.
You do know that its an actual profession right? Weather or not you get paid for it is irrelevant. People come to me to build them computers. If its people I know I do it for free because I enjoy it.
Sony refused to work with him from the beginning. They clearly underestimated him and so now their paying for it.
