"and the cinematics in the game need to exceed MGS4 quality."
interesting I buy games to play them not to go "OOOOOOOOOOH" and "AHHHHHHH" over cinematics...cs, battlefield 2, left 4 dead, TF2, Unreal, have all proved that storylines and cinematics mean jack in gaming as long as the gameplay is fun.
Though this is from the opinion of a pc gamer. Your average pc gamer doesn't care too much about single player games. However this only goes ...
ah yes, developed by treyarch as they're probably sitting around in meetings all day wondering what period of time they should release their next cod. seeing as how IW has modern weapons locked down.
it would be a perfect fit for them. a crappy game for a crappy movie.
I imagine they're probably going with a vietnam next. Then after Mw3, they're probably going the "near-future" route. with weapons that look semi-futuristic but still fire bullets. Wait a m...
oh em gee I can't believe you forgot the sarcasm tag. are you trying to make people here at n4g think?
what's wrong with you?
call of duty movie in essence would just be another war movie.
It was too late this gen to release DNF.
DNF would have maximum impact as a launch title of the next-gen
And no I don't mean ps3.
agreed, I checked out an episode for dragon ball kai not too long ago. Goku's voice made me laugh. I've been watching subbed anime for years. However in this case. The dub is definately the way to go.
I agree with Ozzy. I've played for almost the same amount of time. This game requires quite a bit of dedication and travel can be extremely painfully slow and boring. SE intends to keep this alive by creating only major timesinks. When I mean timesink I mean this
talk to an npc to start a quest. Spend 45 mins-1hr running to area with quest. do your quest
rinse and repeat 15-30 times which serves to progress you through an expansion pack.
Spend a couple...
as a pc gamer myself. No, crysis is not the best fps out. Not even close actually. While fun the first time around and really good to look at. It's multiplayer was horrible.
I give the title to best fps to either cs or q3.
wtf...are you posting in the right article?
95% of the articles on n4g are topics of Sony of M$ fanboys trying to 1up each other. Why pick the one that has to do with neither?
I'm a hardcore ghostbusters fan. I was about 10 years old during the peak of ghostbusters fame. I had the toy proton packs, all the movies and the jumpsuit....But even being a fan.
Like I said in another article. I don't own a console so waiting means nothing to me since console ports to pc are usually released long after consoles. But I probably won't even touch a torrent of this for years to come until me and some friends are bored and it gets brought up.
ah darn no more entertainment after this article cleared everything up.
I was hoping the ps3 fans would start the hype train for this one before everything was cleared up.
This is coming out for pc also so it's going to look better than both the 360 and ps3. But do I care for this game?
No.
ya most likely with LN2 for cooling (liquid nitrogen). It's the way to go if your trying to break overclocking records.
they didn't make crysis, crytek made crysis. EA published crysis. But EA making the best fps ever....
Grain of Salt. People reading this should know off hand what happens when you over-hype a game here.
This is EA. You can expect to paying for DLC at least once a month after this game is released.
Unless they are finally making their DICE dev's start work on Battlefield 3 then i'll give em the benefit of the doubt ONLY if remains a pc exclusive. But lik...
Even with all the hate towards Gabe and Doug @ Valve here at n4g. It looks like no one disagrees with this article.
shameless n4g catered article is fail. More especially so since the guy that wrote it submitted it here.
@ fstar
I've stuck with the opinion that this gen sucks hard. Fanboys that continue to shell out their cash for a couple maps of DLC, extra costumes, and stuff that's normally in a patch. Have really stalled gaming this gen.
More and more developers are beginning to look past the game itself and more at what they can charge console players for extra this or that in a DLC.
Well it's obvious it's not a Halo killer. But What Fstar says makes a lot of sense. If you have certain expectations from a company. Or they have a reputation to withhold. More pressure to release a better game is put on the developer.
But when a developer loses sight of what made them one of the best and their execs no longer care about their fanbase or reputation, only dollar signs. Games like "The Last Remnant" are released.
my sister bought a $500 dell laptop a couple years ago. Still works fine to this day. the exterior is scratched and scuffed like no other yet still runs perfectly to this day.
I can take a pic of it along with closeups of the model# and whatever else you want me to next time I go over there.
well if I spent almost a grand for a laptop it better have AT LEAST a 15 inch screen.
lol, what did some 12 year old american kid take your a$$ to school in an online game?
