game died for me when I found out not only do pirated gamers get a free online pass (meaning I wasted money). But you can hexedit your characters to be damn near invincible with 65k inventory slots and still play online.
I agree used game sales and piracy are one and the same. Except there's a cash flow when it comes to used game sales.
Simple fix really. games should be locked to your profile like steam does it. Sure you can get around that and play single player still but games like MW2 would be useless should you buy it used.

the last 3 CoD's were made off the same engine. While the rest of the industry has begun to surpass CoD in both graphics and gameplay (See DICE). At this point CoD is nothing more than a bandwagon. looking at their forums it's obvious the majority of the OFP was pc gamers.
This game died days after it was released in the pc community. I don't think dedicated servers at this point will be able to revive it.
They've effectively killed off this franchise.
