long load times?
less than 5 second load times on my pc...longest I've seen was around 10-15ish

Dragon Age is by far the best game I've played this year. It's definately a sleeper nominee for GoTY
may be demoralizing to some. But everyone's expecting 12 million+ sales.

with complete control of the servers. DLC maps will be touted as being the superior experience having undergone "quality testing". DLC for pc gamers have been a dream for many developers. I'm sure on paper this looked like the perfect way to do it.
The only problem is...They put pc gamers on the same level as console gamers.

I can happily say that my pc runs this
1080p, 8xAA, Maxed out with a constant 60fps. I hover around 70 when Vsync is disabled.

That's all fine and dandy OpenGL but whens the last time Epic made a worthwhile pc game.
Truth be told Epic is no longer a pc developer who's games I'm interested in. I'm sure many other pc gamers feel the same way.

if I ran games at 720p. I'd have to buy a 120hz pc monitor. I doubt I'd ever drop below 120fps in these multiplat games at that res.
But then...WoW thank god I'm not limited to gaming @ 720p...that would blow.
classes will never be perfectly balanced. Mobs on the other hand. If a certain mob is weak to physical damage and drops phat loot. Mages get left out in the cold and vice-versa. They have more of a chance of balancing out classes in the mobs that get created.

In the pc's defense there hasn't been a developer pushing pc hardware like they were 5 years ago.
It may seem like consoles are catching up. But when a developer cannot tap pc hardware BECAUSE of consoles. That's not catching up. All in all consoles "catching up" is nothing more than a simple illusion.
