I've played the original Gran Turismo and owned GT4. After playing Dirt2 in Eyefinity then trying to play split second and blur both of which have issues with Eyefinity due to them being direct console ports.

yes screen resolution DOES matter. It's the reason I've been away from n4g for so long.
I'm now playing my games @ 5760x1080p and I just couldn't get enough of it. Eyefinity is the real deal and it kept me away from forums for quite awhile.

Epic is washed up. The best they'll be able to do is Gears for years to come. They'll be around for awhile no doubt but they're just filler.
In the end they could never realize their own shortcomings and admit to themselves they lost some of their magic. They chose instead to focus on the exploitable gamers and give their core audience the finger.

avatar was the first blu-ray I saw on my ps3. It was so boring I stopped it half-way through to hit some golf balls at the driving range.
Unfortunately about 75% of the CoD fanbase probably has no clue about anything that went down at IW.
The studio name alone guarantees a few million sales on their next game. At least on the 360. IW's next CoD is set to compete with Battlefield 3 on the pc side so its safe to say the MW franchise is dead on pc.
It's too early to tell for the ps3. PS3 users seem to be a little smarter than 360 users. MW2 did sell extremely well so I'd imagine MW3 will break a million...

I already have a 3d monitor for pc gaming. I don't see myself shelling out the $200 for Nvidia's 3d kit anytime in the next few years.
This monitor is more valuable to me as a means to game @ 120fps than in 3d. fluidity > gimmicky eye candy any day of the week.
