you won't need much to play crysis 2 on the pc. It's going to be nowhere near hardware demanding as the original crysis.
The people who were playing crysis 1 them years ago at above 30 fps are going to be playing crysis 2 at around 40-50fps.
The story opens with a short briefing of the Inner Sphere's Operation: Bulldog, a daring plan to eliminate the most hostile and vicious clan in the Inner Sphere: Clan Smoke Jaguar, led by Anastasius Focht and Victor Steiner-Davion. Operation Bulldog and Task Force Serpent have already completed their objectives, but there is one last operation left—the one with which the player is tasked—a final clean-up of the Smoke Jaguar forces remaining in the Inner Sphere, and the elimination of the ...

Graphics does not define next-gen (it's one of MANY contributing factors but alone graphics won't do it). Crysis was the game that showed us pc gamers that. It was a humbling experience for us. It's not a bad game. It's rather good but it is not the next-gen that Half Life games bring with it.
Console gamers have yet to experience this. Since the 360/ps3 gen started they have been stuck on the notion that the best looking game has to b...
Sins of a Solar Empire took about a million to make and sold 500k (a few years ago, I'm sure it's close to a million now)
At about $29-$39 a copy sold via digital distribution over the pc on Stadock's own platform. Do the math. each download probably cost them a nickel to a dime in bandwidth.
Stardock made more in profit then most Dev's will ever see on a big budget AAA title.
Half Life 2, L4d, The Orange Box.
...
you guys are saying Episode 3...
It could very well be the Half Life 3.
It's about time for a gen change. We all know that Half Life doesn't just set the bar. It introduces next-gen gaming.
Neverwinter Nights imo stands alone as one of the most in depth RPG games ever made.
This coming from a person who bought a ps3 for only 2 games. One of them being ff13.
you gotta be hungry lebron...im talkin bout stomach GROWLIN.

Fail...all you need to start a party is a quarter and a shot glass

buy whatever offers the best bang for the buck. You'll find your money goes a long way when you have no loyalties in the pc world.
D-D-D-Damage Control fire at will!
well for one you have those 180 Georgia natives being employed that no longer live on unemployment checks or welfare. Which helps the state ten fold over just moving people across state lines.
I hope they realize that while this may fly in Japan. Here in America it just makes them look like D-Bags.
If you were to tell a room of pc gamers that 720p was HD. You'd pretty much get laughed out of the building.
you forgot
company of heroes: Tales of Valor
Shattered Horizon
World In Conflict: Soviet Assault
Napoleon: Total War
Mount and Blade
The Settlers 7
Command and Conquer 4
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat

"Only point of buying a console then would be to play the 2-3 exclusives it does get worth playing in a year."
ding. It's games like Read Dead I bought it for. The only reason I bought a ps3 was for ff13 and Twisted Metal...
Lack of Twisted Metal this gen has my ps3 in about 5 layers of dust.
I actually do own that particular acer monitor. It's a great monitor. I had a cs gamer buddy that still games on a crt monitor due to him not wanting to take an fps hit with LCD's come over and check it out.
We were sposed to have a few beers but he couldn't lift his jaw from off my desk when he saw that gaming @ 120fps on lcd was finally possible.
However I now use it for Eyefinity and it was the major game changing event that only happens once...
bc2 on the pc maxed out looks 10x better than kz2.
bc2 on the pc maxed out in eyefinity...Is just untouchable by any console game.
