i own 2 xbox's,
having major problems with one of them, disc drive will not read games or movies anymore. I called xbox support but they said the warrenty for the disc drive was only for one year.
been trying to get RROD on purpose, but no luck.
definitely worth a rent.
i just do not buy single player games anymore.
with mass effect being the exception last year.
FYI - you can rent a game from blockbuster and keep it for up to 45 days.

if it was a xbox exclusive that egm refused to review due to restrictions placed by the publisher... EGM would be praised by all of the Sony lovers on this site for their integrity.
oh well, either way i've already seen a couple of 8's and a couple of 9's, so although i do not argue that the game is great and a certified AAA ps3 game, it is by no means the best game for 2008 as many many people on this site claimed (hoped) it would be.

GeOW2 will have better graphics.
a much bigger fan base. Marcus Fenix is now a known character/symbol for 360 along with MS "Halo3-like" mega-hype for the holidays. It's the game all the kids are going to want for xmas.
The multi-player is very different, I prefer GeOW2 because its unique and very addicting. ReFOM seems like another Halo, COD4, or Frontlines.

its about the same amount as the ps3, with the big guns beng Gears, Too Human, and Fable 2. Of the games you mentioned only 3 of them have been confirmed for this year.
