Square Enix?????????
I know it was developed by Avalanche Studios but Square Enix publised it.
Just Cause 3 is unplayable now on PS4 becasue of the last update. Framdrops the worse I've ever seen on PS4 or X1 for that matter. It happens everytime you wing suit, lots of explosions on screen, or alot of gun fighting going on. Pretty much any stress area. Before the last update the game was atleast playable, with framdrops only here and there, which I toler...
The performance is not what is bothering me the most with this title I will be picking up today. Its the eight and a half hour game completion that bothers me. They said if you really took your time, it could take you 10-12 hours possibly.
I think the game will be good, I'm looking forward to a different kind of shooter, but its a game that could possibly be a one to two playthroughs and then shelved. No DLC incoming for it in the future to add to anything on top of that...
Thanks for all the replies. It explained things out pretty good where my areas were foggy on the matter.
I've never really looked too much into this series before. Can a Souls/From Software player be into this? I've never played a JRPG before. Biggest diffrences between Souls and Final Fantasy would be great if someone could explain.
But I'm giving this looks, first time I've looked into this series and I've been gaming since 1988.
I like that the series has no run button. Nathan goes at Nathan pace. Always has.
What he said ^^^^^^^^^^
Its been debunked already, even on this site.

Sorry guys, we're going to be playing in 720p for the next four years I guess.
On top of all that, if anyone thinks PS4 or X1 with upgrades is hitting 2160p, your just plain blind. Its going to take more than a cheap $400 fix to be able to produce that.
2160p...
I'm basically hearing that it gives us path choices on the actual areas itself. Instead of having that one hallway to venture down, now we have options.
Demon Souls if you have a PS3...Dark Souls and its DLC, its plays pretty decent on B.C. on X1 at the moment. Dark souls II: Scholar of the First Sin. of course DS3 after all those. Then play Bloodborne after all those if you can.
I'm about 25 hours into Dark Souls and I have to say it is a great game. So many cool items, weapons, armors. The map pulls off the shortcuts great.
I recommend watching one or two episodes of "From the Dark" by Epic Na...
Yeah, the shortcuts are always cool. In Bloodborne the most pointless shortcut but the coolest in the game to me was taking the cave in the Forrbiden Woods and it leading you to Iosefkas Clinic, which lead back to the start of the game. Kinda pointless to some players but I really liked that one and the feeling it came with the first time you relized where the shortcut took you.
The Nine and Ten scores just keep pouring in. Like we knew it would. It does speak volumes.
Probably my game of the year. Thats how much faith I have in From Software and rightfully so. There level design and attention to detail between there map and characters are miles ahead of other developers. Most details the average player just looks over. Not me. I notice everything and reconize them for it.
The Final Fantasy series to me isn't fun. But you didn't see me posting that on your thread, did ya?
LOL
Just the fact that we can move our stat points around instead of them always staying with that stat is great. Now I can use a ton of weapons in one playthrough. Not NG+7 and I'm just getting to the arcane weapons.
I could have used this ten fold in Bloodborne and From Software knew this and added it in.
Game of the year for me as well. I haven't even played it yet. Thats how much faith I have in From Software. They don't dissapoint.
I think the biggest surprise for me is now you can switch out your stat points so we're able to use more weapons, with the same character.
I could have really used this in Bloodborne. I had a skill build and my skill stat was 99. When I hit level 209, I finally sat the game down. The main game I went all the way to where the house in Hunters Dream is burning and I didn't fight the final boss, my character was around 75-80 at that time, instead I went to the Chalice Du...
Holy crap, really? Have they done this before with a Souls game? I've only played Bloodborne and I'm on my first run with Dark Souls at the moment but nothing on Bloodborne that I know of.
I thought about this for a while, and I think I'm going to like the feature, even though alot of Souls fans will say its garbage and its not "the Souls way". I just look at my character I have in Bloodborne for example. He is a skill build with basically his skill sta...
So its just appearance, correct? Not, if your a strength build and say your stat is built up to 25, you can't take those points away and put them in another stat right? Or is it? By the title of the article its sounding like that. The You Tube comments I didn't see anyone saying anything about that. Just that it was cool to change appearance.
If this is true with being able to "move your points around", I don't know how to take this yet. Just something I...

I fully agree with detroitmademe, some open world games get really boring so quick from lack of in the open world map itself. Example for me would have to be Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. They did a good job with adding a base and watching it grow, but other than that base, there is really nothing in the open world map itself except dessert. Very plain map, hardly any wildlife at all. No extra activites in the single player portion of the game.
I can see why they wer...
Imagine if Dark Souls 3 ended with you being the guy that travels all the way to the Undead Asylum dropping the key in the cell for the next victim of the Undead Curse.
