Also, I know that Hidetaka Miyazki has said that the developer was going in a different direction for pretty much over a year now. But with the sales numbers DSIII is putting out this time. Its the fastest selling game by From Software ever. I really don't think they thought it was going to be this popular (like a year ago thought that). They may end up making a game like Dark Souls and Bloodborne again and don't go in a different direction.

Yeah, I thought the only way they could do a Bloodborne 2 from a story standpoint would have to be a prequal and even then it would make hardly any sence the way the lore was in Bloodborne, they wraped everything up in The Old Hunters like you said.

They said instead of doing two seperate DLC packs with Bloodborne, they just made it into one DLC, The Old Hunters.

I would love to see a Bloodborne 2, it was my game of the year last year and maybe favorite of all time until I played Dark Souls. They deffinatly could go that route, but the way the story was and how it ended in Bloodborne, I guess you could add to that. Prequal maybe would make more sence. But I just can't see From Software doing this after interviews with the leads.
But yeah, if they did have Bloodborne 2, more NPC's, more weapons....
Well if so, I cannot for the life of me think From Software will go in a completly different direction on there next installment. Hidetaka Miyazki has been quoted and saying that the Dark Souls series is finished and that they were looking at the "MMO" ideas for there next installment. I don't think they will do this now.

Demon Souls since I'll never be able to use it on Backwards Capability for PS4. I would be totally willing to buy the PS3 disc to play on PS4.
Well, I'm running through Dark Souls now. I'll will be playing this after. But man, this sounds so different from Dark Souls, it kinda makes me worried a little. I want to play all the games in the series and I don't want to completly skip DSII.
I guess I shouldn't judge before I play the game. I loved Bloodborne last year and I think I like Dark Souls even more. So I have to give DSII: SOTFS a go after Dark Souls. I already have it on PS4 and DS:III for PS4....

I remember that mini boss in Bloodborne. I was getting defeated everytime. I finally found a pretty good strategy. Numbing Mist was enough for me to keep his health down and get the shots I needed. The Eileen Crow set was really cool as well.

Yes we know it's getting to be a part of everyone day life but for every tv show, every movie and now alot of games to "make sure it's in there" is just trying way too hard.

I wish I could just win one game of Gwent. I got so tired of trying I just skipped playing the Red Baron guy altogether and gave up on Gwent. It bothers me though because they are taking up my objective list and I hate having old missions on there. I'm still running through Skellige anyways so I have some time later.
That was a very nice article. I'm currently playing Dark Souls as well and using the B.C. on X1. I found Dark Souls for $10 on disc, new. I think the DLC was still $15 though. I really liked Bloodborne on PS4 so I stuck with PS4 when purchasing Dark Souls III. I also got Dark Sous:II SOTFS for PS4 as well.
The only thing I can think of negative with Dark Souls is the framerate issues, which I totally ignore the whole time. So really to me the game that shines so much, tha...
Take your time.......I'm only about 50 hours into Dark Souls at the moment and I have DSII:SOTFS after that. Then Dark Souls III. Its gonna be a great year, this is my first run on any of them. Bloodborne all last year. So I guess its been a great two years of gaming in this series.

I had Battlefield 3 & 4, and this game runs so much better. Its so smooth compaired to past Dice shooters.

Just be like me and wait to replay all of them when they are remastered, which we all know is coming and is all but been confirmed. Pattons are already in place for the remasters as well. So we know they are coming.
This way, everything looks even better, which the game looked good anyways, but now we will get even better visuals for the series we all love and really miss sometimes.
The upgrade will overshadow the fear of not loving the series all over again ...
