This might be a dumb question but does it depend on what HDD your running with on PS4 when it comes to framerates? Especially after updates. Does it just effect load times?Mine is the 5400 speed.

I haven't played a Souls game yet on consoles that didn't have framerate issues. Its something the community has overlooked over the years because they knock it out of the park with all there other content. But, I expect this game and even there next, to have framerate issues for the life of the games.

First and foremost, if Activision lets all the people know last Sept./Oct. we will be able to buy a Gold Edition that has all the maps included avialible later on. We are not having this conversation. But Activision is trying to pull another fast one on the community. Especially the players that paid $110 in November.

They are not the only ones though. Last year Bloodborne went throught the same thing. The exclusity hurt them. Was it exceptable? Yes. Not like Sunset Overdrive. Dark Souls III has already almost sold half of what Bloodborne sold lifetime.
No dobt. I don't disagree at all on that. I do think Insomniac has a pretty crappy fanbase though, but it comes with stupid publishing decisions on Insomniacs part. They even had a TV show for Sunset Overdrive that got canceled quicker than we can blink.
Some developers strive on exclusity, like Naughty Dog for instance. But it hurts companies like Insomniac and really, it just makes there fans look very "fair weather" at best.

Everyone is lucky Insomniac Games didn't go under after the low sales on the Xbox One exclusive. Insomniac got no love from the fans on that title. So what does Insomniac go do next time........they release another exclusive.

But if I was buying a new console tomorrow, and my only choices was NXX or PS4.5, I'm taking PS4.5 for the third party support. Don't know jack about the new Xbox. This is coming from someone that has a Wii U, Xbox One, PS4.
But waiting to release the NXX after the holidays is only going to give them a slow start. Maybe not in the long run, but the first six months.............Its summer.......people...

There is a great reboot out today. A bit arcady. But GTAV is an excellent version of a modern day Road Rash.
If they ever did reboot Road Rash, it would get some looks I'm sure.

Xbox One B.C. was the biggest announcement last summer in gaming. Sony would be dumb not to take advantage of B.C.
If I wana play Demon Souls for instance. I would have to go buy a PS3 just for that one game. I already have a PS4 and if PS4.5 has the B.C. feature..............I'm buying it for sure. It is a good selling point for the new console.

I can't decide. I love everything From Software brings to the table. I'm on my first run through Dark Souls at the moment. The only big differences I can see between the games (I can't speak for DSIII yet, waiting to play through DS,DSII:SOTFS still) :

Battlefront runs so good though. Compaired to other shooters I have. It is the best running hands down. Its actually a good shooter. You have some defense, which in other shooters I have, there is no defense, CoD BO3. All the CoD maps are setup all the same. Three paths at the beginning, left, middle, right. I've been saying from day one, guys like Miyazaki get overlooked, but guys like Kojima can throw anything out the door and people will worship it. Kojima has had some nice stuff in the past, but his last installment was just too bland for me. Miyazaki, I'm sure has something new already being thought up. I hope he doesn't ver too far from the Souls series. Bloodborne story wise could go the prequal route, but not sequal I don't think, atleast story wise.
I guess I could agree with this but that last year and a half for Xbox 360 game wise was rough. I mean, they had a few titles here and there but very far between. GTAV at the end, right before that there was Bioshock Infinate. I know it was the end and the devs were prepping for the next gen, but still rough.

Thats why I'm pacing myself with the series. We know its ending. From a story standpoint, I really don't think you can have a sequal for Bloodborne. Maybe a pre qual at best, but not sequal.
