It would have probably been a GTX780 as they have been out the longest and that is not representative of the GPU that will be in the Next gen consoles as its over twice as powerful.

It helps to sell/ advertise the Cryengine, I don't think they care about story or actual gameplay.
I'm guessing 2 souls is going to have a great involving story with branching paths giving reply value, Whilst Ryse will be a very nice looking scripted interactive tech demo that involves the stabbing of a lot of people in the face.

Yes the game does have a few technical issues with framerate and AA. And there are a few instances with wonky enemy AI.
Even some gameplay elements are not always great, it's not perfect but as a whole it's an excellent experience that deserves no less than a 8.5/9 out of 10.
And if you want to avoid spoilers, I can see some media having a field day with the 'controversy' surrounding Ellie as a 14 year old girl and extreme violence.
Yeah but only on the same difficulty. I finished on normal and would liked to carry my stuff over to play on hard mode but you cannot.
There are quite a few weapons and levels of upgrades for each, there is a cool way of rewarding you just like in RE4. The guns have a great weight and kick to to them and it has my favorite hand cannon to date.

Cheats I don't know but it has many skins for Joel and Ellie some that are only unlocked when beating the game on harder settings. You get virtual $ that you can spend on extras only once you have finished the SP. There is also 3 rendering filter modes black and white/old western/ vibrant colour or something similar.
Anyway it really is a great game that had plenty of replay value with collectables etc.

Big difference is that Gears of War was published by Microsoft. EA have control over this game and they like to be on ALL systems.
The greater the DRM the more I see people waiting for games to go in the bargain bin, less actual game purchases and more piracy.
Its simple really the games industry will 'lose' just as much money as they think are from used games.
The real culprits here are the likes of Gamestop not the little mom & pop stores or the kid that sells his game to his pal so he can then buy the latest NEW release that PUTS MONEY BACK into the industry.
