Yeah sadly the PS4 and XBone's GPU's seem underpowered for consoles with 5-10year life spans.
Even my 2.5 year old AMD HD6950 has more grunt at 2.4 TFlops compared to the PS4's 1.84TFlops and we don't know how the low clocked 1.8GZ CPU's will fare its 8 core but I don't think many games will use more than 4.

The best thing about COD is that it runs at 60fps, the next gen versions have to be 60fps as people expect it and are used to it.
Yeah I think less people will take a chance on a new game if they know they can't get some money back by resale.
Or they will wait for it to get a massive discount or even worse just pirate the game, either way I think the industry will probably loose the same amount of potential revenue.

EA do not do system exclusives that's all I know and I heard MS claim exclusivity and It's only been timed exclusive before so I would not trust them.
Look at all the money they payed Rockstar for GTA4 episodes and that still was only timed exclusive yet they made out to be purely exclusive.
Does anyone have a list of games that were supposed to be exclusives that then went multi?.
