I had an x360 since day one. I got my ps3 about 3 months ago. I can say this. I have had my ps3 on just about 24/7 between Folding and remote play. I am on my second x360. To me the hardware end is no contest. Games on x360 are more plentiful and I do play games on it, but for home theater entertainment I watch all my movies on the ps3 whether its dvd or blu-ray. The internal wifi-card gets alot of grief for not being required. However, if you only have a wired network and your ps3 is hooked into a wired router you are missing out on remote play via the psp. I have to admit that using the wifi to watch movies stored on my ps3 HDD via remote play in the bedroom is pretty sweet. I could see dumping the BC because if you wanna play ps2 games the unit is cheap enough to buy seperatly. I would get the new 80 gb with no BC and leave my ps2 hooked up. B...
I cannot update via remote play. Now that would of been sweet to be able to update and download wallpapers to my ps3 from work. maybe in the future they can implement this feature.

FPS vs. A third person shooter. Apples to Apples people. I have noticed playing both systems that the X360 does have more vibrant colors. That does not make it nicer to look all the time. Sometimes the games can look cartoony. Take Quake 4. Much brighter than what I have seen from Killzone 2 but that does not mean it looks better. Gears is fantastic. Killzone will be as well. Halo 3 no interest just becuase it's not wicked enough for my tastes. So let the good times roll.
For all the people that claim the xbox 360 has so many games to play people sure spend too much time disagreeing with comments for no real reason. Now i lose a bubble because I pointed out a fact that the headline is misleading. Come home from work and get ready to game and poof "ring o' death". MS was very cool in getting me a new one. I recorded my SN# and when I got it back it was a whole different unit. So I myself am at 50%. If this one breaks and MS gives me grief about it I am gonna say screw it. I'll sell my games to gamestop and get another PS3. I want a second one so that will be good incentive.
So to me the price is fine. I'll do the same thing I did with ps2. When the price drops I'll get another one. I look at it like this. I may not be using it as much as I like, due to kids and such but I paid 600 to know that it's in my house. $600 for the creature comfort of knowing that a ps3 is in my entertaiment center is not that much. I don't think there is another product on the market that I would feel good about just knowing I own it. Piece of mind for $600 that is gravvy money....

To be honest, I don't have a 3DS and I would consider myself to be a Playstation fanboy. I have to say that the Vita is the best piece of hardware I have held in my hand. I do not have a cell phone, and with the 3G version of Vita along with a $40.00 a year subscription to Skype I have my own number and can call and receive calls from any home/cell phone is the U.S. So basically I can carry a Vita and play the best handheld games, surf the net, e-mail, and make phone calls all for $35....
