Why not? Zelda is by far the closest comparison when it comes to open world design. Acting like Elden Ring invented any of its open world game design elements is just being ignorant. Elden Ring is basically a hybrid between Dark souls and BOTW. Zelda was revolutionary. Elden Ring is taking all those amazing elements and combining them with their mature themes and own revolutionizing combat mechanics. These two are probably the two best open world games out there.
I have around 1000 hours on my controller. No issues with battery but a noticeable drift on my left analogue stick. Egypt is quite strongly hinted in God of War already (just playing currently). Although Egypt doesn't have quite as well known gods as Greek or Norse mythology has. The next games could also introduce travelling between different countries and realms in a way that Kratos could face multiple mythologies in one game. Maybe gods from different realms join forces and decide to take Kratos out. Series ends with Kratos killing every last god in every realm, including himself and boy.
HDMI cables come at various standards. Not all are the same and many consumers are confused. I mean it is. But I cannot understand the defence mechanism people have. Without a doubt us PlayStation fans were expecting even better scores. Is 88 on Metacritic good? No, it's great! But not amazing! And that's what we all should have expected! I'm not saying it's a bad game. I'm just saying that the hypocrisy is quite obvious. I'm sure most of this site were expecting mostly 9s and 10s for this game.
No game is perfect and never will be. 10 does not mean perfect when it comes to reviews. Every game has some flaws.
