The Nexus/The Maiden in Black are what make Demon's Souls a better experience than Dark Souls.
It's already the most awarded game of 2012. Nothing compares, already leagues ahead. Even when the PS3 isn't putting out AAA games like Uncharted, Sony still manages to put out yet another game of the year through PSN.

Dead Space 3, The Last of Us, BioShock Infinite, GTA5, Beyond: Two Souls, Sly 4, and Ni no Kuni are all day zero must buys for me.
Metal Gear Rising is a must for me as well but damn with Sly 4 and Dead Space 3 in the same month. Still waiting to be impressed by Tomb Raider.

I'll agree for two reasons:
1. Most of my favorite PS2 games were already remastered for PS3.
2. The PS3 hardware easily surpasses everything from previous and current generations.

Heavenly Sword had great music and a good story as well. Ninja Theory's problem is that their games are too short, too easy, and technically and graphically perform terribly. The demo didn't quite sell me on DmC but I'll give it a shot given good reviews and all. The controls are solid but the speed actually reminds me of DMC2.
We'll see.
