Was Dead Space ever really survival horror, though? I never, in any of the games, felt like I was going to be trapped in a situation where I might not have enough ammo to continue. Real "survival" horror should get you into situations like that at all times, reaching a point where you'll need tactical strategy to continue.

The way I see it, Game Informer is a magazine that for some reason believes Mass Effect has continuously improved as a franchise. They've rated the games on a perfect or near perfect basis. Meanwhile, a lot of people disagree with them and wish the franchise would go back to its roots.

I thought it was just me. Kessler is one of the best boss fights ever. The background music and not knowing what he'll do next made it incredibly epic.

The new environments are so gorgeous. Kratos' new character model looks incredible. They've made massive improvements to his facial animations. Really liking how much better they've made the human characters look as well.

Isn't the physical copy a dual layered BD? So 50GB. Not sure why this surprises anyone. If you want the game completely installed on your HDD you'll need a lot of space. A lot of PS3 exclusives are this huge, actually.

I'd expect nothing less from a Level-5/Studio Ghibli collaboration. It's obvious that JRPGs like this are Level-5's specialty. The game instantly reminded me of Dragon Quest VIII, and from the looks of it, it's living up to the high expectations.
