I agree that 3 was the weakest in the trilogy, since its story was small scale and rather bad compared to the first two. But like you said, that's not to say it was bad, it's just the first two were up there with the best games of all time.
I wish Lords of Shadow 2 ended up being better than it was.
It would be one of the best looking games of the generation if that's the case. The amount of effects and colours on screen at once is still impressive to this day.
Trust me, Xbox users don't care if PC users can play Xbox exclusives. If they go to another console, yes, we would take issue with it. But PC is Microsoft's market too, and doesn't really directly compete with Xbox, or any console.
There have been Playstation exclusives in the past that were on PC, and they were still considered Playstation exclusives. I never saw an issue with that. Again, PC isn't directly competing with PS4 or Xbox anyway.
This and God of War 3 were often compared back in 2010, and I thought Lords of Shadow was the better game despite being a huge God of War fan. Deep combat and exploration, incredible story, great art direction and soundtrack. It was much longer too. God of War 3 had better production values and pacing, and I'm not trying to take away from it, it was great. But Lords of Shadow, in my opinion, was a flawed masterpiece.
"Either stop playing online or ban your kids from gaming online"
Talking like this is a "stay safe online" issue clearly misses the point of this situation. At the time of writing your first comment, I highly doubt you read the article. The author "staying safe online" sure as hell wouldn't stop the kid from being exposed to this on a daily basis.
The use of bad language isn't bad on its own, it's not intended to be a kids game after all. However, it's the rather disgusting manner this father was using it that makes this situation horrific. I say horrific because this kid is probably exposed to this sort of thing on a daily basis.
The Xbox One X version of RDR2 kills Horizon visually.
The greatest strength of the first Red Dead Redemption was its story. Now because they've gone for more realistic mechanics in RDR2, it feels that much more immersive and is rightly considered a masterpiece, as it will be remembered for years to come for its story. The soundtrack, visuals and gameplay mechanics all amplify it.
Does this suit everyone? Of course not, but there's plenty of faster pace open world games. Spider-Man and Assasin's Creed Odyssey just ca...
Every comment on here is an opinion. In my opinion, Red Dead Redemption 2 in 4K Is a worthy trade-off for Spider-Man. I obviously disagree with the reviews - If you made the same game with an unknown character, it wouldn't have been regarded anywhere near as highly.
Since it decided to use a weaker version of Arkham combat (which was already well outdated), for starts. I'm not really a massive fan of Spider Man as a superhero, so maybe that's why I think that. But everything Spider man does has been done better by many open world games in the past.
I own both games too. Maybe because the PS4 Pro version looks a bit weird is why you may think that? (According to DF.) But it looks far superior on the X, not even in the same ballark.
Lol Spider Man looks better than RDR2? Now it's clear you're a troll. A rather bad one, at that.
Who the fuck approved this?
I'm happy to have the considerably better version of Red Dead 2 and Forza Horizon 4 over generic open world mediocrity like Spider-Man.
Some morons on the internet buy bleach for some bleach drinking challenge... sure, they had the right to do it. Doesn't mean they aren't stupid.
Fifa beat it? People never bloody learn, do they?
Did you really expect less of a difference? PS4 console sales are over double the Xbox One's, are they not? The PS4 version only sold just over double the Xbox One version... that seems to be appropriate to the number of consoles sold, does it not?
These sales aren't surprising. If anything, due to the fact Sony had the marketing deal, I would have expected more from the PS4 version. Maybe the fact that the Xbox One X version is the best played a part in that.
Now that we have RDR2 releasing on two discs for the user's convenience... this is appaling. Does it even make sense? The Crash trilogy was hugely successful, why did they feel the need to potentially decrease the sales for Spyro?
Come on. If you're gonna release it so many times, at least have the decency to give it a proper remaster.
If it's between no Half-Life 3, or a Half-Life 3 made by one of the best directors in gaming... I'm sure the fans will be fine with it lol.
