There were plenty of people on here saying that LBP was the title to kill the 360 in Japan, eric100 for one.
Sony may not have expected much from it in Japan, but fanboys were. So what reaction do you expect when it opens so badly.
This goes back to the Fact that Sony Fanboys were saying that 70k first day sales on TOV was a flop and the fact that the Japanese market if very front loaded
Sorry, but apart from some Wii games, Japan is totally front loaded to the first day and first week, if you watch the charts regularly you would see that.
For everyones info, LBP was not delayed in Japan the 30th was always the release date.
I have not seen any evidence that the 80gb bundle is selling well.
Sorry, but your figures are wrong TOV sold 108k after selling 70k on first day.
So, it looks pretty bleak for LBP, if it can't beat TOV on a system with 3 times the user base, Sony are knackered in Japan

You make me smile, the fact that a western 360 game almost sells as many as LBP is highly embarasing for Sony.
But at least Sony fanboys have another reason to say wait and see, I believe they have been saying this since August, well I am still waiting.

PS3 is always going to win, but it was very funny seeing PS3 owners squirming for the last seven weeks.
360 has gained enough interest to make it a viable machine, that is all it needs to be in Japan.
It'll be interesting to see next weeks figures and how much the PS3 drops off.
BTW 360 has a new bundle on the 6th so there are bound to be a few people waiting for ...
