There are loads of great games coming out on the 360, let aloan all the fantastic games all ready on the 360, PS3 can't touch the Xboxs existing games.
Coming out this year for 360 - Tales of Vesperia, Castle Crashers, Infinte Undiscovery, Viva Pinata, Rock Band 2, Saints Row 2, Fable 2, Far Cry 2, Fallout 3, Scene it box office smash,Gears of War 2, Lips, Banjo- Kazooie, Naruto to name a few, let alone all the XBLA games.

A lot of people posting on this forum seem to miss the point that VG Numbers are for the Americas, not JUST USA. This is one of the reasons that the 360 tracks higher than the PS3. In the rest of the Americas 360 is without doubt the number one machine.

It'll be intersting to see if sales going forward can beat 6k (last weeks sales) on a regular basis from now till xmas, if so MS are doing ok.
With the stock shortages I expect next weeks sales to be low. But maybe the sold out signs will get some interest and help future sales
Famitsu magazine are reporting that 360 sold 24000 and could have sold many more, it even claims it would have beat the Wii if there was enough stock

in the last few weeks the PS3 has been in short supply according to posts and last week stock was good, so why is the PS3 selling so badly?
This is the first time I have seem 360 sales continually grow, it sold over 6000 this week, which is good to see, but I think the real story is why is the PS3 selling so few, it only sold 10000 this week down on last week. Sony have real problems in there home market.
Good to see the 360 getting some attention in Japan, the console sales have been increasing steadily too. Maybe all is not lost.
These statistics are already out of date as Braid and Geometry Wars 2 are both scoring 90%.

MS is using XBLA to capture the casual market as well as the regular gamer, there are plenty of great original games for the regular gamer out there too.

The Xbox 360 was the lead platform on the multiplatform games. The 360 games were superior to the PS3 versions. Famitsu scored the 360 version higher than the PS3 versions.
Hence their inclusion in the top 25 and the PS3 versions not being in it.
The reason only five were on the list is that the PS3 versions of the multiplatform games were inferior to the 360 version so did not make the list.
Another reason to buy 360
Even the Japanese know the best games are on the 360.
They just do not want to buy an American machine.
