It sounds to me that you are trying to convince yourself that you have bought better tech by buying an LCD, you have not. A good plasma TV beats LCD hands down everytime.

The sales person told her the truth.
I understand PS3 owners frustrations, but on the occasion you mention, he did his job, nothing more.
My bet is still that Rare is working on games for a motion controller.
This is pretty much just PS3 owners moaning again.
The 360 sells more sortware, and it is an easier sell for the sales staff due to the lower price and bigger games library.

Obviously WKS is not out yet but Gears 2 just beat the rest of the games you mentioned 2-1 in 2 days sales. Fable 2 sold the same as the rest of those games, not to mention that 360 out sells PS3 on almost every 3rd party game by a large number.

"fluke and unsustainable" I don't think you can call seven weeks a fluke, that is what PS3 owners were saying about one week.
The 360 has a market in Japan now and will periodically beat the PS3.
No doubt PS3 will out sell it in the long run, but 360 is here to stay.
