The fact that MS states such things as "exclusives are not important" and "console hardware sales are not important" shows they are on a dangerous path. Gamepass will reach a saturation point (hello, netflix), and then growth is less and less possible. Exclusives though always drive sales, see Mario Kart, see Smash Bros, see Uncharted, see Spiderman.
Maybe MS can produce exclusives that drive both subscriptions and hardware sales.But they need damn good games for ...

Thats my problem with this logic. The portable needs a better battery life, not the dockable.
Wait, the improved Switch tgat can be docked has better battery time than the Switch Lite, which is purely for handheld mode ? I fail to see the logic.
I hope it will work out, I just dunno if Halo is still such a popular franchise. MS should add new interesting IPs, like Sony did with Days Gone and Horizon. ReCore wasnt it.
For me the Switch will always be the console that lacked. While MS and Sony build communities, Nintendo just terminates them. Miiverse was awesome, people posted loads of creative artworks.Then the VC. The backwards comp.Etc.

A lot of people bought RDR2 because of the hype. Barely anyone really finished it. So, sales numbers are not equal to fun. I have a lot of fun with Thimbleweed Park.
Guys, Uncharted sold 15 million, GoW 10 million,dunno how much Spider-Man sold, but thats Your ball park for the core gamer community on PS4. Those 90 million consoles mostly went to casuals who bought it because at the time it was most powerful and nobody wanted kinect.
