First they wanna go annual, now they wanna go three year cycles. Proves this industry still makes it up as they go. Same will happen to Assassin's Creed. The only thing where this makes sense is sports games, everything else is a gamble with studios and jobs on the line.

Fortunately for me, I never liked Halo. When I got my 360 it came bundled with Halo3 and of course me and a friend played several hours coop campaign, but somehow that was about it, never finished it. Just too boring and the art style and character design and enemy combat is just too dull for my taste. But I also never got the hang of Resistance Fall of Man and Killzone on my PS3.

I dunno what 99 Nights and similiar games sold back on 360, but I doubt this game reaches 1 million this year. I would buy it for local multiplayer, though. But a demo would be nice, dunno why Nintendo doesnt use its own service to let me try before I buy.

Doesnt anybody see the elephant in the room ? Why does a game like Diablo 3 NOT achieve 60fps/1080p everywhere ? I mean, look at it ! Folks, come down, the Yerlis took the risk and built a company that is a leader in technical achievement, out of a bunch of nvidia fanboys. They are not much different from iD or similiar companies. There are highs and there are lows, successes and mistakes, no need to kick them while they are down.
I dont think the wii U is gimmicky, the miiverse for example is a great way to interact with communities per game. The gamepad off screen play is welcome, as is the fact that in several games the inventory is always accessible (Diablo would have benefiited from this greatly). Its true, its an underpowered hardware compared with the others, but that makes development cheaper, and as long as stuff looks good, I dont care. I am playing Far Cry 3 on PS3 currently, and enjoying it imensly despite its sub 30 fps rate. I really doubt there is anything in Dx12 that can boost what the hardware just can't push. Its just too weak.

Amazon instant Video has a big amount of free stuff included with a Prime Subscription, which is basically why I watch it on a regular basis. I like the offering very much, but would I subscribe to it, if I hadnt Prime ? Nope. The new Kindle Unlimited also benefits Prime subscribers. Since You can't do much on PS4 without Plus, Sony should at least offer free games and movies with PS Now.
