This. I simply do not get it.
"What was wrong with the story in vanilla D2?"
^^^ This is why I am no longer taking anything you say seriously.
In my opinion, Destiny 2 is a damn joke. It's an overpriced continuation of the ridiculously horrid (lack of?) story writing from the first game, with a campaign that might be 4 hours if you are lucky and the usual endless grind for better gear that amounts to crumbs fallen from a table. Meanwhile if you didn't buy the DLC, you are stuck at level 20 while you watch guys who are level 50 obliterate everything with much more powerful weapons and much higher power levels. Now I'm ...
Changes to a beta mean nothing to me. EA and DICE would need to fire 90% of their management and restart development from scratch before I would ever give this a second thought.
Seriously, who hasn't seen Pirates of the Caribbean?

Rygar was a lot of fun. I also liked Silent Service, but I'm into that simulator sort of stuff. Lots of others I am sure that I can no longer remember. One other that popped into my head, Swords and Serpents. I had a lot of fun with that using the 4 player Satellite thing.
I've had the Codec alert as my txt tone for over a decade. It's funny to see people react to it when in public as so many people know the sound.
Wait, did you just say Just Cause 3 had no bugs?
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Thanks, I needed that today!
Red Dead Redemption had an awesome soundtrack as well as Infamous Second Son. Those are two of the few game soundtracks I have ever bothered to own.
@gangsta_red,
You don't "pick" a publisher. You attempt to sell your idea to a publisher in order to get the game published and/or get more funding for development. If the publisher thinks the idea will sell and be profitable, then they will negotiate a deal. If not, then you move on to less desirable publishers and most likely less and less appealing deals. More than likely, due to the low performance of recent games, Sony declined to publish whatever the...
All I need to know about NVIDIA's next gen gaming GPUs:
They are &*#^$%@ expensive!
Oh well, hopefully the last gen cards will come down some more now. :D
Actually you are wrong. The entire starting quest "Vor's Prize" was released in Update 14 in July of 2014. So while it was early by today's standards, it was not anything like what Warframe was like when it first launched. There were no quests when Warframe first launched in March of 2013. As for "content exclusively for people who've played the game for hundreds of hours with no regard for new players", this is completely baseless and if you had actually p...
Nope.
@ ziggurcat
There are no HUMAN NPCs.
It's still a bit of a head start and while in the grand scheme of things it doesn't really make much difference, it's still an odd choice to make since most games usually do a reset before release. At first my knee-jerk reaction was to say that I don't like the idea, but considering how many people are probably not going to buy this game at launch, I doubt it's very noticeable. Then again, that may be Bethesda's whole reasoning for this odd decision.
@Christopher,
You might want to pay attention to who is talking here. I am not the one who made the "As a non-racist white guy" comment, so your "trying too hard" comment is a complete misfire.
As for your other comments, I think it says a lot about your character how quick you are to judge someone else's character. Seriously, someone in this social climate says they are not racist, and your first reaction is to claim the opposit...
@Christopher,
I would like to see where you get the statistic to say "Most people don't give a damn about the flag or the anthem". Around here the flag is well respected and is flown on at least a couple houses on every street. Black or white, here they don't seem to care as we love our country, our freedoms, our flag and are proud to be patriots. Our country is not perfect, but people are still a lot better off here than in many, many other countries. ...
The "arse licking" comes in when people still try to defend Murray and his lies when they were documented very well. It's actually pretty funny to see people claim he never lied when all it takes is a quick Google search to make them look like complete fools.
Ah, the "joy of subscription".
No thanks.
Must have gotten a cheap rate on the venue with all the murders and other crime.
