There's a tech category on this site as well you know, and Windows 7 has a lot to do with PC gaming, DirectX 11 and all those other gaming improvements for one.

How nice of you to automatically assume.

Pete Molyneux did a review of Fable 2 before any other publications, he gave the game a 9 and did a great job at critiquing it. How many other developers are willing to do that? People just want to blindly hate the man for no reason, yes he has some bad aspects to his character but he also has good aspects which people for some reason just look over.

beavis: How on earth did you play Killzone before Halo when Halo came out nearly 3 years before?

Revisionists are sinking to a new low, a good game is a good game regardless of platform, it will only inspire developers to create their own interpretations of the game on all consoles.

Yes, lets make a game that will appeal to a very hardcore audience, and never the masses, both games are great, why are you trying to discredit one over the other?

Again, you probably haven't been gaming for a very long time. Look into his contributions, Populous for instance is regarded as the first G.O.D. game, one that was critically acclaimed to boot. Black & White, Syndicate, Pitbull, etc.

And your view on Fable is your own opinion, the series has received much praise from critics and gamers.

If you think er Molyneux is "just another random dev" I suspect this must be your first generation in gaming. Do some research next time, Molyneux did a lot for this industry long before Lionhead.

You can't call something innovating if you haven't even played it, or it hasn't even been released! No one is going to look at developer videos of Heavy Rain and say "my game needs that" until thy get their hands on it and see for themselves.

People like to make fun of Molyneux for no reason, he didn't even put any of his own games on the list and Populous is described as one of the first G.O.D. game.

It really comes down to advertising at this point, the company who advertises better especially for multiplatform titles will see success IMO. Overall I think both consoles will still sell great this season.

I'll never understand the appeal of Karaoke games, but then again, a entire nation can't be wrong!

Edit: Just checked IGN's reviews for other Karaoke games, they really don't score as high as I thought!

The racing N64 one? It's been so long since I've played that, not sure what I'd think of it if I were to play it now.

Ziriux: I wouldn't mind everyone getting their hands on a Dreamcast who previously hadn't, Sega might still be in the biz if they did! :p

For $10 this is a killer deal, you get so much content from it, hell, a lot of full retail games don't offer as much as some downloadable titles do.

Your wish has been answered, get yourself a Dreamcast and a copy of South Park: Chef's Luv Shack, just don't blame me...

The original Gizmondo article was a bit misleading as well, the PR rep clarified Balmer's statement giving it rumor status, but the title still implied it was "set in stone".

I wouldn't be surprised if Balmer was thinking about something else (like Windows perhaps?), he seems like the type of person who might not be very into that division in comparison to the other ones at Microsoft.

Much better than the old South Park games, the last decent one was the gameshow South Park game on the Dreamcast but that isn't saying much.

For a game like The Sims, Spore, etc yea sure but what about all the other games?

Disney? I'm not believing anything they say. Disney was one of the strongest proponents of HD DVD, rilling up support for the format left and right but when the format war came around they went Blu Ray exclusive.

Anything for a dollar I guess.

Games that do try to experiment don't do well most of the time, take Velvet Assassin for instance. They made a World War 2 stealth game that attempted to give your enemy a human side, making you feel emotions over taking lives. The game itself wasn't bad but it didn't sell, a few months later and Replay Studios goes bust. Examples like this is why people are afraid from breaking to far from the mold, if they don't have the budget to go all the way they will suffer which is unfortunate.

It wouldn't be a Gearbox game if it wasn't broken, it's simply how they roll regardless of platform.

Were you honestly thinking the game would span across 3 50GB Blu Ray discs? Could you imagine the final retail price on that thing?!?

Darthv: Perfect Dark Zero was a prequel, the XBLA release is of the original N64 game but with HD/updated textures, XBL multiplayer, etc.
