This is old news by the way, a ton of site have reported it the past few days.
Anyways, what they do is rip the Blu Ray disc, they take the 720p, 1080p, or what ever size they want and then burn them in a format called AVCHD. Not sure where one would play this disk though, PC only I assume.

@ GWAVE: What on earth are you talking about?!?! Microsoft always states gold subscribers connected to Live, they rarely state Silver accounts, they make it clear they are referring to Gold subscribers when sending out numbers.

Good news for Treyarch, they deserve this hit! Although COD 3 didn't sell bad either, it outsold previous COD titles up until 4 which isn't bad.
Oh plus their is a version of Modern Warfare on the DS. Let's hope this momentum continues, 4 sold like crap (compared to later sales) when it came out and word of mouth really "skyrocketed" that.
Rumored in development numerous times, lets hope they use a better graphics engine this time. The PDZ engine was good when it came to environments, but the characters looked horrible!
I've been following these deals and it seems like Circuit City will be the place to go for electronics. Hopefully this turns things around for them :)

Err the 360 was the lead platform so it's not suprising the 360 version of the game would have the "advantage" so to say. But usually these advantages on multi platform games are so small it's not worth a damn!
No matter what platform you have it on, it's a great game, lets all hold hands and enjoy it! :)
I believe Sony started production later than that, don't have the exact date but thats why the launch stock was ridiculous.

Err since when was Bluetooth a gaming necessity? Plus the 360 is able to download games, ever heard of XBLA, Xbox Originals, and Tomb Raider: Anniversary? Wifi is convenient but it's not good for gaming.
I agree with the DVD 9 comment, Microsoft could have easily chucked a HD DVD drive into the unit and still me...
Its not bad, on the engine side of things the COD engine is a beast, since it was "ported" to a underpowered console it's expected things won't transition 100%.
But hey, atleast it makes things easier for other studios who want to use the COD engine for their games on the Wii.

I tend to go to Circuit City a lot (Since its a re branded Radio Shack in Canada), it seems like their game catalog "lacks" aside from a few good titles.

Cod 4 is one of the most scripted games ever made, albeit it is good but it really didn't add to the shooter genre any like all the die hard fan boys say when they try to bash World at War.
War Hammer is declining now as well, soon it will join the ranks of Conan as well, which is a shame.
