On average how big are Blu Ray games for you to even warrant such a thing? Besides, compression is a beautiful thing for a developer who wants to cram stuff into their games, at times it can be done so well you won't even notice any compression was used.
Stranglehold actually worked well on the 360 and PC at least, good graphics, steady framerate, destructible environments, physics (sliding things off a table, shooting things down and having them fall/kill people), etc.
I'm against it as well as long as the piece in question isn't promoting hatred like the many Klans games that were made over the years. For this particular case like I said I'm not Hindu and I don't know much about the religion to say. How offensive is it? Is it just offensive to a niche or the masses? etc.
You must have missed the "religious extremist" part, when did I say only Southern India was religious?
XBL has sales as well, deals of the week and other promotions are pretty common. On XBL you can kinda gift stuff via Amazon.
If the devs are located in India I'd feel sorry for them, specifically if they were in the southern area where you get hardcore religious extremists.
I'm not Hindu Pennywise but I think those that are may find that comment offensive.
lol ok, almost everyone who bought the game for the beta found Crackdown to be a really good game. Besides only the first 300k or so copies of Crackdown had the beta (identified by the sticker on the front), the game sold over a million....
VG Chartz wasn't even close this month, I love Aerosmith so it's good to see them have their success. Sucks how the game was guitar only :(
Rocky and Bullwinkle was ok, just too expensive!
Atari might not but parent company Infogrames who fund Atari has money, regardless this is basically Atari trying to save money, nothing more nothing less. The thousands possibly millions they spend at E3 could probably be used to advertise their 09 lineup which so far is looking good.
I wouldn't go that far, since the apparent success of Alone in the Dark Atari has been back on track to returning. They were obviously compensated for the European Ghostbusters issue, a company that needs money to grow makes a smart business move, not much wrong with that? Of course it sucks for gamers, but a company has to think of themselves before the consumer.
Microsoft estimates by 2013 Xbox Live will pull over a billion in revenue on a anual basis,

Not to mention by then assuming they let other fields foster off console and software sales they can easily recoup these losses before 2015.
Microsoft isn't in the business to "win", they are in it to make money. So far they are on the right track to pull a nice profit shortly according to early reports. They could be second but if they have he ability to pull in more money then first, why complain?
Edit: Above: The Saturn was powerful, just hella hard to program for! :p
Interesting, this could greatly work in Midway's favor if they win.
This Jake guy has a pretty interesting track record, wait for E3 then I guess?
This guy has messed things up for Microsoft in the past, big time to boot! Why has no legal action been taken against him? Sorry, I'm not a lawyer so I don't know much about how things work.
Living through the days of the PS1, Dreamcast, etc multiple disks has never bothered me much like it seems to some people on N4G. Don't get me wrong, I would take a singel disk any day.
FF is pretty niche but still big enough to sell millions worldwide.
I forgot what game it was, I think maybe Blue Dragon but they had a Japanese audio track pack for the game that you could download for free. Fable II had something like this as well. Microsoft knows they made a mistake of not including HD DVD when Toshiba showed them working prototypes of drives in mid 05, at least they are trying to "amend" the issue.
And yes they could have included Blu Ray but I am going by a timeline I read on a HDi devs blog, he says Toshiba sen...
Steam will allow this game to reach at least 1k!
