I'm very interested in this game. The puzzles look mind boggling... I hope they also manage to incorporate the humor that makes the Portal games so memorable, but that remains to be seen.
Looks absolutely gorgeous.
Part of me says "It's about damned time you can move and shoot at the same time!", while another part screams "Well, there goes the last vestige of Resident Evil's origins.".
It's always concerning when a game's release keeps getting pushed back. Either it's going to be an unprecedented masterpiece, or an utter disaster.
As long as it's not mandatory, I'm okay with this.
I wasn't sold on the idea of multiplayer before E3, and nothing they've shown so far has changed my mind. On top of that, the single player doesn't look like much has changed. I can honestly say this is the first time I have been fairly unenthusiastic about the prospect of a new game in this series.
*sigh* I had some hopes that this game would be good, but the more I saw of it, the more slender those hopes became. Sorry to see my instincts were right...
I do find it a refreshing change (potentially, anyway) from the standard "kill everyone" modes that most multiplayer relies on. I'll be interested to try it myself.
Certainly an intriguing concept. I'll be interested to see how it turns out.
No offense, but I didn't miss any of these 'secrets'.
£50,000 for a virtual chisel that doesn't even guarantee you'll get to see what's inside?! Even if it DID guarantee that you'd "win", (for lack of a better word), unless what's inside is banking information for an account containing at least £50,000 there is absolutley no way this could be worth it. I think we're learning more about Molyneaux' psychology than he's going to learn about ours...
Well... I agree with the first half of your statement, anyway...
I'm glad to see actual zombies in a RE game again, but I'd have to say this is far from my most anticipated title. Doesn't mean I won't play it, of course...
What an astute, insightful comment. Please continue...
The problem with that is many of the bugs aren't discovered until AFTER the game's release. Skyrim, for example, got what amounted to over a million hours of playtesting in the first couple of days after its release... they would have had to have hired a full-time staff to play for the next decade if they wanted to get that much feedback prior to launch.
I'm reserving judgement until the development is quite a bit further along. Has some potential, but information is way too sparse to form an opinion yet.
Hope to see more like this for Wii U. I also hold out hopes for a name change, but I'm not holding my breath on that one.
Except that Microsoft isn't also trying to sell a handheld system.
I can't help but wonder if this doesn't ultimately result in Sony competeing aginst itself...
I am really looking forward to a true HD Hitman game. Judging from the Sniper Challenge, it looks like they're doing a great job with this. I just hope the rumored Hitman HD Collection is real.
