Personally, I like games that have the otion to turn elements of the HUD on or off, or at the very least change the opacity.
Good... the 3DS could use more RPGs.
I can't help but wonder if the rumors of a JLA prequel are true. Could even Rocksteady make Aquaman interesting..?
I have no problem with developers listening to criticisms and learning from them... but here's what concerns me: If you were to 'listen to the fans' on all the forums and comments sections, you would come to the conclusion that there is absolutely nobody who likes Call of Duty. In fact, you would think that virtually every gamer on the planet detests the franchise.
You'd be wrong. CoD continues to be one of the highest selling, most played franchises of all ti...
I can see this becoming prevalent down the road, but it's still years down the road.
The... for lack of a better term "word" 'Revengeance' makes me want to physically assaulttack the turds who came up with that title.
My biggest concern with this whole debacle is the precedent it sets. Whenever the loud, obnoxious vocal minority gets their way, it seems to lead to bad things for the far less loud majority.
The Lost and the Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony gave us completely new protagonists, each with their own, fully realized characters and storylines. Further, the stories intertwined with the plot of the original game, allowing us to revisit key moments in the story but from a completely different perspective. They literally redefined what DLC could be.
The Shivering Isles brought a vast new land to explore, nearly a third of the size of the original game. It contained new e...
Wait... The Lost and the Damned, The Ballad of Gay Tony, The Shivering Isles, Undead Nightmare, Lair of the Shadow Broker... and you pick costumes and chess pieces..!? Surprised horse armor didn't make the cut...
This looks like one of the old Steve Jackson games.
Thanks, Microsoft... I've never had a stalker before.
If they want to do remakes, that's what they actually need to do. Don't just add in widescreen support and 720p output and call it an HD remake. Perfect example: Beyond Good and Evil didn't even change the damned camera controls. If all they want to do is an upscaled port, don't bother.
I'd bet money that was simply an oversight. Not everything's a conspiracy...
Aint this the truth. There are so many people who blindly defend/comdem games and consoles, you'd think they were getting paid to do it. Too often comment sections devolve rapidly into irrelevant shouting matches, which often have little or nothing to do with the article they're posted on in the first place.
Uh... prior to the Revolutionary War there WERE no 'Americans' (aside from the natives, of course, though that's not how they would have identified themselves). That's what the war was about... remember?
There should be more games that incorporate some of the Noir conventions. More interesting protagonists = more interesting stories.
As far as I'm concerned, their biggest hurdle is the damned 'friend codes'. I know they've said it's being reworked and simplified, but they really need to make meeting up and playing with people a simple affair. Fail to do that, and virtually every other aspect of their online integration becomes meaningless.
I said the same thing before noticing your comment.
I'd have to put Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver somewhere on the list:

This is sort of a double edged sword. As with the movie industry, it's the money made from these giant blockbusters that fund the development of smaller games... but unfortunately that means that most of the resources are poured into the big blockbusters...
