It's quite a reasonable budget indeed. Looking at Sony their revenue after distribution and retailer cut would be around 70% since they own the studio and are publishing. With a million copies at an average price of 60 dollars and probably another million at an average price of 40 dollars and another million discounted far below, perhaps even 20. The total revenue could be around 120m dollars if it sells 3m copies which I believe factoring in digital sales it will. Calculating another 10 ...
Well vgchartz has a few weeks of delay and does not calculate digital sales. So probably this game is close to 15m in sales total. 20m total is now a given but it will probably do around 25m total.
Expanded world, more machines, added gameplay mechanics, continuing the lore and world building while battling a Horus class Titan
Can still reach first place but with sales significantly lower. It's not stated in the article and in general Australia isn't the bigges market. I expect it to be number 1 opening week in Europe already but with lower sales.
Destiny 2 sold far less in stores when it released compared to the previous game although still enough for a number 1 spot.
Saw the angry Joe rant. They literally tell you in the game to keep playing those odds. That's straight up gambling. You can't spin that around
I think this game is gonna spark something different for GT. I see more and more professionals playing this game and it will spark even more interest to the casual player. Long way to master but easy to get into. And is now becoming not just a driving simulator but a racing simulator. Online, competitive and e-sports while being fun playing offline
Guys, this really is not working as they intend. There are just too many CPU variatons when it comes to speed that using multiple cores, even if at least 2 would be a far better idea. The game runs fine on my 480x at high/very high settings and 1080p but the menu, transitions, loading all suffers stutter which is quite annoying just before a race.
Doesn't he want his rating to be lower? He said it's unrealistic
I think they announced that it will be a free update.
So it seems that last gen versions will become legacy versions with minor updates.
Ah well, now I have 2 generations on ps4 and so far Fifa 17 seems like the biggest update since next gen.
Honestly, I dont see a problem to what the writer is referring to. He expects a discount of the paid amount for when the actual game releases. This doesn't make sense, as if it's the first time he heard from humble bundle.
Anyway. Nothing stops people from donating anyway (wih or without these ubisoft games and this service) and humble bundle is really a means to get it going. Ubisoft tries to create awareness with a beta in the hope to make the bundle more valuable. ...
This game sold already 8 million copies. This was without these out of a sudden price discounts but at least the price reflect more the amount of content
I'm divided. So far I'm enjoying the game but they better bring support a la evolution studios.
They made a Bad Company 2 awesome (also not that much content, did had cool SP though, some issues in perfomance till last patch), they made bade BF3 awesome (not the best launch either) and even BF4 now is a great game with the community maps, night add-ons, performance boosts and fixing of all issues.
So they can opt to take a better direction now, which hopefully they will and in 6 months we'll have an awesome packed game (unfortunately we have to wait)
Any word on split screen online?
After today's Tokyo Game Show it's just another confirmation about their effort to bring the best games to PS4. Can't wait for the Gravity Rush sequel and Hot Shots. Hopefully Yakuza remake and the others come to the west quickly. Star Ocean 5 looks sweet as well.
A Halloween sale will definitely happen with this one on the foreground
I love the fact that it isn't just a simple color but that they played with it nicely. Also I really like the star wars logo on the touchpad
I think it will be a port to PS4 but with a higher resolution and better framerate. But anyway props for doing this
Taking screenshots from trailers full of small artifacts is the worst way to compare. I think quality is higher in build then what has been seen before. Also if you'd play the trailer where the guy took the screenshots from you just notice the low YouTube quality but when all is in motion that fades a bit slightly. Just don't trust YouTube
