The basic error in your calculation is that it's not RDNA 2 or even 3.
You can see this in the simplest way by the fact that the RT is separate from the CU.

On xbox... PlayStation has been next gen since Ratchet and Clank, but congrats to Microsoft for releasing a next gen game half way through the generation. Sadly 75% of xbox owners will be playing it on a last gen console called the Series S.
Of course next gen really starts when the PS5 Pro launches later this year.

Just in the past few months we have had statements from Larian, 2k and now Moon Studios (as well another indie studio that released it's game pass but I can't remember who it was) have made similar statements recently about the effect of subscriptions on sales and profitability.

That 1900 was only Microsoft's latest round, they have fired over 5000 people from their gaming division and over 20,000 people across the company in the past 2 years.
This is what I was saying would happen years ago, the switch from direct sales to subscriptions has devastated the industry to the point where it can no longer support the type of big budget games we have had for so long.

This is only an issue on xbox.
On PC and PlayStation you don't have to pay for an extra subscription to play the game or any extra currencies.
It's only xbox that you have to pay for gamepass to play the game and have this currency.
